• Missing Gameplay Mechanics!

I was wondering after playing through the Portal 2 Singleplayer what the hell happened to some of the cool gameplay mechanics they featured in their early demos of Portal 2 for instance... Pneumatic Diversity Vent: Crusher's and Some Levels (0:52): Anyone else annoyed at this? :(
Eh, the Diversity Vent was pretty useless when you think about it. Everything it was shown doing could have been easily accomplished by reaching through a portal and grabbing whatever you were attempting to pneumatically diversify. It was essentially a fancy arm. The crushers, however, did make it in the game. If you didn't see them you are either not at the point in the game were they show up or are completely and totally blind.
The crushers are still there, they're just not puzzle elements. [sp]For example when Wheatley tries to crush you with them. Twice.[/sp]
I noticed lack of pneumatic diversity vent, was a little disappointed. Also felt there was a lack of timing and quicker response elements, but still a great game

However I did not see any used in the test chambers such as the propulsion gel E3 demo video.
The level with the propulsion gel in that video was probably replaced with [sp]The ye olde aperture levels[/sp]

The vents were totally obsoleted
