I think I have a slight clue how it works but otherwise we're going to have to find out when the PS3 version releases.
Shugo is right
I hope that valve bans/dissables all the PS3 users who linked their accounts before the official release.
uuh... why? its not hurting anyone i dont think...
uuh... why? its not hurting anyone i dont think...
I believe he is talking about console version piracy.
I hope that valve bans/dissables all the PS3 users who linked their accounts before the official release.
Punishing someone for buying their product, thank christ you don't work at valve. also Disables.
I believe he is talking about console version piracy.
Yeah, I'm talking about stolen and pirated versions, also those who took copies before the release have to ruin everything with spoilers and uploading the ISOs. that's completely different then.
Yeah, I'm talking about stolen and pirated versions, also those who took copies before the release have to ruin everything with spoilers and uploading the ISOs. [editline]17th April 2011[/editline] Yeah, because everybody bought those copies before the oficial release
PS3 users can't play the pirated version of portal 2 anyways because it uses 3.60 keys, which are currently unknown/unreleased.
PS3 users can't play the pirated version of portal 2 anyways because it uses 3.60 keys, which are currently unknown/unreleased.
Also I don't think PSN works for them anymore.
Yeah, because everybody bought those copies before the oficial release
And I was suppose to know this because you weren't being specific.

[editline]17th April 2011[/editline] Yeah, because everybody bought those copies before the oficial release
You can't prove whether someone did or did not buy a product based solely on the fact that they have it before release. Someone could have legitimately found a store that broke the street date and managed to buy a copy. You're so selfish that you'd wish that person would get banned from Steam and PSN simply because he managed to legitimately score the game early? If you yourself had the opportunity to get Portal 2 early, I'm sure you'd take it in a heartbeat. I know I would. And as others have said, Portal 2 on PS3 cannot currently be pirated. So there is no legitimate reason to ban Portal 2 PS3 players at this time.

I got my Portal 2 copy a day ago (small store around here was trying to score some sales by giving it early), it's the best game I have ever played tbh. The game worked fine on my PS3, so I don't know what your talking about with the 3.60 version.

IT sucks cause i got a bit of the game spoiled for me by spoiler fucks. But Im kinda just denying what i got spoiled to me until it happens. Fucking spoiler pricks. nothin wrong with buying the game early, but then spoiling it is just wrong

I'm just happy I stayed away from any Portal 2 news so that I wouldn't hear spoilers.
TF2 for Macs equals Earbuds. TF2 for PS3 equals ???. I really want Team Fortress 2 on the PS3, but goddamn if theres more fucking promotional items. :smith:
TF2 for Macs equals Earbuds. TF2 for PS3 equals ???. I really want Team Fortress 2 on the PS3, but goddamn if theres more fucking promotional items. :smith:
There is TF2 on PS3, it's basically Vanilla TF2, though.
There is TF2 on PS3, it's basically Vanilla TF2, though.
It is Vanilla TF2 isn't it? Since it was ported before it was ever updated? Or was it updated before it was ported?
It is Vanilla TF2 isn't it? Since it was ported before it was ever updated? Or was it updated before it was ported?
I said "basically" because they apparently patched a lot of the hacks and bugs out of it or something along those lines, but never really added any of the additional content for consoles that was added on PC for some reason. But yeah, TF2 was released at the same time for both consoles and PC as far as I know.
What I meant was since they can add Steam, they can make it cross compatible with PC and Mac users, hence making it possible to have updates and shit.
There is TF2 on PS3, it's basically Vanilla TF2, though.
I want TF2 on the PS3 now. Vanilla TF2 = god-tier.
I want TF2 on the PS3 now. Vanilla TF2 = god-tier.
I have it and i am satisfied.
I want TF2 on the PS3 now. Vanilla TF2 = god-tier.
There are Vanilla servers on the PC, though I haven't found one that's really populated. If someone knows of one feel free to post it.
