My account was suspended. - Games

Hello. I havent played wow for ages and wanted to start again soon. So i went to account management, but it says "This account has been temporarily suspended from accessing World of Warcraft. Please note, if your account is under Final Review the duration below is subject to change (up to permanent). " .. Im a completely computer illiterate person who has no idea what to do now. Please help me.

There's no reason there? Check your mail, maybe you got a mail a while ago with a reason. If not, mail/webform Blizz.

well i got an email. but the link in it is broken "Greetings, This is an automated notification sent from our account security system. You logined your account successfully at 3:14 on Jun. 29th form the (something).* IP range. According to the report of many players, we found that the account published spam information in the game which harassed other users seriously. This action has violated the EULA. As too many customers' complaints, the IP range above has been blacklisted. We are concerned about whether your account has been stolen. In order to guarantee the legitimacy of your account, we need you check your account status as soon as possible." Honestly, posting an IP won't matter. You're saying the URL in the email is broken? Is it broken on blizzard/WoW's website, or is it broken as in what?

Doesnt matter, but yeah, it seems like your account was keylogged/hacked and used for distributing spam.

But the link is broken So i go to their site and try to do it there. but since i got my account from my older brother. i dont have the original CD key which it asks for.

That email is NOT legitimate. Do not use the URL they give you to log into your account.

i tried logging in via the battlenet now. and it says the same thing. just without the 24hrs deadline.

well. I sent a mail to blizzard with everything they need now. So i'll just hope and wait I looked at the Armory.. and my lvl 80 chars all lost their sellable gear. Luckily not all my characters did so.

However if you enter your details into a website that is obviously not owned by Blizzard (it's not hard to just read the URL) then there is clearly something wrong with you.
