So Assassin's Creed is Free-Running because you are doing so without any sort of way to "win." While Parkour is often times a race of Free-Running.
How come every massive nerd I see flashes off the fact that he does parkour to look awesome? It's really annoying.
Okay, can I explain the difference properly?
A) Parkour. It's these skills applied practically, used as a form of transport between two points. Also sometimes a competitive sport, with races.
B) Free Running. This is more casual and relaxed, for fun over practicality. Most "hardcore parcorererre lolz" type people are really just doing free running. Same sort of thing, but more mucking about.
Essentially, Parkour is a serious, fast way of getting from point A to point B, where Free Running is just exploring and jumping around.
GPK had some [B]great [/B]potential...
I want something like this. With the ability to change between third person and first person.

I've hanged out with some parkour guys. They were not trying to look good because we was on abandoned territories and we didn't film anything. You know, some people needs more adrenaline than others. They can't explain it. They just want adrenaline.
