I hope HL2: EP3 won't be like Left 4 Dead - Games

I really hope that Episode 3 isn't going to be as gory as Left 4 Dead. I mean holy shit, Left 4 dead is over the top with the blood and gore (well it IS a zombie game)but at least they could have made it like Ravenholm. Hl2: Ep3 will either use a better source than l4d, or the current one. L4d2, and l4d use a modified source, so most likely no.

But what I like most is when you kill an enemy, they kept pulling the trigger as they die. I would love those gore effects in EP3, the gibbing is too much though.

I'd like to see gore in EP3 to an extent, but nothing like the over-the-top L4D2 gore. I liked L4D2s gore, but it doesn't fit HL2.

I personally hope it isn't. Too much gore and blood distracts me from the storyline. While I stare at the gore, admiring it's detail, Alyx is getting buttraped by an Antlion or a Combine or a Zombie or Crow.

I want l4d2 gore

L4D2's gore was over the top and gimmicky. I would be very disappointed if it were included in EP3.

I guess it could work if it had an option (like in L4D2) to set the gore to low, and it would just be the regular Half-Life gore instead of INSANE BODY PARTS GIBS EVERYWHERE L4D2 gore. L4D2 gore would never fit into Half-Life. I don't want to shoot an Overwatch Soldier with my puny MP7 and have his chest cavity suddenly burst open spewing blood everywhere. It would look stupid as hell.

When was L4D realistic? That thing is swimming in so much blood I can't see the normal texture of a room after I'm done with it.

L4D1 dosent even include glory gore.

I hope it keeps the same style like ep2. I mean, shooting with some guns while swimming (some don't work underwater) and shitting while on a ladder.

Wouldn't it be funny if EP3 just popped up on to the store, no adverts, no nothing- just the complete full game and no-one noticed. :v:
