what are the steam active RTS games ?
Currently I am playing Age of empires 2 HD and enjoying it, yet I want to go for something modern (tanks and fighters), what about command and conquer series on steam are they active ? and which is the best RA3 ,C&C3 ,C&C3KW ,or C&C4) ? I played RA2 and generals before (good old rts days) and liked them a lot, yet heard negative talk about the new ones, please help me to pick the best and the most active RTS in multiplayer and community at steam.

The Stronghold Franchise has some of my favorite RTS games of all time. Company of Heroes is pretty excellent too.
