The escapist is currently having a developer showdown on it's site, with 64 companies battling it out for the top spot. It's currently in round 2. I'm not posting to advertise it, just share a little statistic.
One of the current pairs is Infinity Ward vs Zynga.
As i type, it's about ready to close, and Infinity Ward are losing. 6000 - 4000. I know they aren't too well liked for what they did to some of the gamers, but I don't think that means they deserve to lose to farmville. Thats just sad.
Maybe it's because it needs more advertisement? Because not every fucking CoD player is on a pc.
hmm you're probably right. Zynga might have posted something about it, whereas IW hasn't done anything...
very small portion of gaming demographic is even aware of this glorified opinion poll so this doesn't really reflected the opinions of gamers as a whole at all.
