So....Incase you live under a rock, Portal 2 is Valves sequel to their 2007 hit game Portal! It's just been released and it's full of awesome. It comes with a hefty price tag though, so I thought hey why not have a giveaway!?

Not exactly, thought some people would be interested in Portal 2 here, but if you like the site than that's cool too. If I were to make a thread that said HEY GUYS..YOU GOTTA CHECK OUT THIS COOL SITE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS BUT ITS PRETTY COOL SIGN UP YEAH, that'd be more advertising another forum.

No, I just bought an extra copy to give away. I figured alot of people here would like Portal 2 so I would try posting it.
Only managed to get one potato, from Killing Floor. Was worth it though. :D

I'm not JUST using it to advertise my site. Okay, that wasn't even on my mind when I was posting it here. My intentions were to post here to tell others that I have a free copy of Portal 2 to give away, it happens to be that I'm giving it away on another site, so I thought, hey why don't I post the link here so people can have a chance at getting it. I'm not trying to promote my site at all really, if you like the site that's cool, I'm promoting the giveaway, so more people can see it.

Though he is saying "If you want the game, join this other forum," he's still giving it away out of his own money, by the looks of it. All he wants is people's time and consideration for the site. He's better than those people who are trying to sell it.

nice website, the way the ads are laid out makes it feel like it has an awkward layout though
anyway, i think it's fine if he gives away portal 2 with a link to his website, he's paying out of his own pocket.
