• Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 good for games?

Let us get right to the point. My graphics blow, even on the lowest settings on TF2, L4D2, and Garry's Mod I get 9-12 FPS. So, I figured I should get a graphics card. My friend has one, and I've seen the results first hand. About 50+ FPS if I remember correctly. I'm still a little concerned weather to get it or not, due to the fact I've read reviews that it might cause recent crashing ( which my friend has problems with sometimes ) and how much noise the fan makes. Would you suggest this Graphics card? My spending limit is $70, if you can find a better deal/card with better qualities, please do. Totally a Source Mod.

HD 5870, oh wait you said $70.
If you saved up you could just get a better one. The 5770 is good, I have it, it does all source games max @ above 100 fps, crysis on high at 30 (with a Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.6 Ghz + 2GB RAM) But it's a pretty constant 30 and totally playable and sexy. It's not like "I can run it at 30 fps but I average 10 :downs:" it's average 30fps. Also, it's really quiet. The only thing that really makes a noise at all in my PC is the hard drive. Now THAT is annoying.

Get the HD4670. I can run Crysis on mostly full with a dual core and its really not too bad about loud noises
hd 4850
So if I'm correct, the 5770 can run 100 fps for TF2, L4D2, and Garry's Mod, with little fan noise? The 4670 also sounds pretty good... How much framerate do I get with the 4670?
I have HD3650. I don't like it all. You can use it to play games on High and all that but if you put any antialiasing it'll kill the FPS. It's more of a multimedia card. Basically it runs almost all games as long as you don't put antialiasing. Just forget Crysis.
I have a 4670, you can get into the 100s on most Source engine games when not much is going on, with all settings but reflectivity maxed at 1440x900. In TF2s case the FPS drops to about 20 when stuff happens thanks to the updates, it was fine before, and GMod varies, recently on a populated server I've been experiencing 10-30 FPS as standard, but my card is slowly dying. [editline]01:55PM[/editline] Oh, and keep the AA/ AF down, these 4xxx series overheats like a bitch and these don't help.
I'm on a 4650, which is at a decent price, and it can play a lot of games high settings.
I got this card (bought it a week ago) and I'm impressed by it. It's a good card that can run all source games on a decent quality (not the best, but good)

Because if I don't use antialiasing, I'll still get a good fps, right?
What is antialiasing? Can I play games without it? Because if I don't use antialiasing, I'll still get a good fps, right?
Antialiasing smooths out the "jagges" in games. No, you dont have to play games with it.
Okay, guys I've decided to buy the 4670. A review said it'll get me 45-60 fps or more, and the fan is pretty quiet and doesn't overheat. Now I just have to find the best deal. Thanks for all of the help!
I got a HD 4500 series card and it's perfect, go for it mate. Edit: Oh, Good Choice, i get about 120 average on Tf2 at Max by the way, Mine is ASUStek customized btw.
4670. 40FPS on JC2 at max settings.
Try those DX11 Radeons, then they will run even better.
4670. 40FPS on JC2 at max settings.
Wat, my 4850 runs at 30 fps on almost max. I have 3.2 gh quad core and 4 gigs of ram (I think ddr2)
