I know the L4D2 Demo is old now, and the full game is out, but I'm probably not getting the full game soon and I still have these demo files in my Steamapps files, so I tried to run it. The beginning video worked, but then an engine error:

Now, I'm not Stupid, I know Valve probably messed it up on purpose or something to keep people from running it after they removed the demo. I would like to play it more though, is there some file I can change or something to fix this and let me play the L4D2 demo without any problems?
I'm guessing it's probably server side.

Probably has to have permission from Steam or something. Really, I think they should've just left the demo for people to play. :saddowns:
