We need help on alien swarm.. The game loads then crashes back to the desktop!

Because of your name and the way you type, I'm guessing you are 13, but since I'm nice: try verifying your game cache through Steam, and if that doesn't work, can you post your system specs?

Also "...everyone on steam is having the same problem...", if that is true, then nobody would be playing it, and there are MANY people who are able to play this.

Try the megathread, making your own thread would make you look sillier. Not to mention you're making yourself look bad already. Also you aren't the only one getting this error. It seems valve has broken one of their games again.
