how can i play half life 2 wars with out ep2 cause it keeps saying errors like mount file system 420 failed how do i erase the ep2 mount please help and if helpfull ive erased ep2 awhile back thanks bumps help full

You pirated Episode 2?
You Need Ep. 2. models, the engine, and the units, all of those are pretty much from ep. 2.
Get the orange box, its quite fun.
Go to the mod directory, then you can find "gameinfo.txt". Now in the line where is "Steamappid" replace the "420" to "220". This will change the mod to use the Half Life 2/Source engine content (Not Episode Two!). However, there's a reason it's an Ep2 mod, it requires it's models and the rest. It will have missing textures and models, so yeah the best choice is get EP2.
spend 20 bucks on Episode 2, cheapskate.

Same here, except I couldn't grasp the concept of Forum Signatures. That shit haunts me even if it was erased a long time ago.
Also OP, just play a prior version of HL2 wars if you really want it, otherwise, get EP2.
