Alien Swarm Section - Games

Should we get an Alien Swarm Section in the Valve games and mods section?

Would be useful seeing as it should gain a pretty big mod community like TF2, and would help in containing said topics.

Alien Swarm does peak at about 40,000 players per day, though- more than TF2 and L4D. Also, look at the activity in the TF2 section compared to Left 4 Dead.

It's a new free game from valve, of course everyone is rushing it, if it's still popular after a month then give it a subforum but right now it's too early.

It's not that big of a game but a lot of people are into modding it right now. At least temporarily it makes sense to set up a section for it. [b]IMO![/b]

No, every time a popular new game is released everyone goes "GARRY YOU NEED TO MAKE A SUBFORUM YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT" and then after two weeks it dies and everyone wants it replaced by the next big game.

There are a few threads about AS now, but it will probably die after a while, like the L4D subforum. There's never anything interesting there anymore.

I would say yes as of now, but there IS a potential that the modding community doesn't take off with this game. Unlikely, considering the source code and whatnot, but there's a possibility.

It's a game that is MADE to be modified, of course it needs a section!

Im down with this, but i think we're doing fine as of the moment, maybe if the game gets bigger, say a huge campaign like Left 4 Dead or something, or new content, then i guess it would deserve a new section

New subsection would be nice, so we can rid 10% of the main section of Alien Swarm mods/videos and make those mods/videos easier to find.

So wait, the majority feels we should have a subsection for a game that's only a few minutes worth of gameplay, yet we don't have a subsection for Valve's other games such as Half-Life and Portal? Stupid idea to me. Short version: We should have subsections for bigger games by Valve, not tiny engine demos.

Yes considering this game has more potential to me than TF2 (This is just my opinion, TF2 is the same thing over and over, i mean so is this but there is more that can be added to it)

I suddenly remember another game that everyone said should get a subforum that will last a while because of a potentially large modding community, it was just cause I wonder where that subforum went...
