Did they just patch in the shadows and new fixes to the Source engine from Alien Swarm into all the other source games?
updated all games, they seem to have updated and screwed up steam alltogether now on mine, I log in it crashes all the time.

Delete ClientRegistry.blob on your Steam folder, and log in again.

Ditto. Only seem to be patch notes for Portal however.
