Every time I start the game up, I can pick any option. As soon as it loads, it exits. I've tried EVERYTHING. Any help would be great and I fit the specs.

hmmm might have found a fix
delete the bin and srcds_run files form alien swarm
and change download location (italy is recomended)
then validae the files and reaquire the lost files
i'l test it

I know that you would have probably tried restarting your computer, but i'll mention it anyway. Tried restarting your computer? Also, maybe try stopping any un-necessary programs running in the background, or even your anti-virus?
You guys are sounding desperate, so i'm just clutching at straws with ideas here.
