Survival Map (surv_snowycity) - Games

Tiny map for survival on Alien Swarm made by me. It's a lot funner for multiplayer games on custom map servers, but sadly I can't port forward my stuff. If you can, please add me if you can host your own server. I really wanted to play this with a couple friends. I did a playthrough of the map. The player(s) is stranded next to a crashed air vehicle (a helicopter from what I bothered to look at), and there's ammo boxes about as, like you'd guess in a Survival map, aliens come at you nonstop. I died pretty fast, so I can't tell if there's more aliens that come or not. There's also a hell of a lot of bloom. It's good though, and for those having doubts, it's [i]not[/i] tilegen. Due to the fact that it's not in addon format, though, you'll have to use the console to play it.

Story of the mission goes, "You have crashed in an isolated city infested with Drones, survive as long as you can" And as I said...it's better with more people since you can actualllt hold out longer. Alright well I made a new version that made things a little more realistic instead of having crates laying around the floor, and also opened up that one room everyone wondered was closed off. Uhm...still don't want to get rid of the bloom, if I do the snow will look like concrete since the texture sucks big big balls.

Does this map have an ending? The problem of all the survival maps so far is taht they have no progress, no ending. So it is just boring to sit and wait for nothing to happen, killing bugs beomes boring with time. Anyways i am going to try it out.

And plus, Imma make a new map tommorow and release it. Imma try to release survival maps pretty often considering it doesn't take TOO much work.

The lightning looks pretty ... Dull imho. Also the empty concrete walled area in the second picture could have been made into a unpassable building, now it just looks weird. Also in the interior areas I see no furniture or devices at all (aka props). It is a very good start.
