Looking for a specific type of multiplayer experience

I was wondering if there existed a game, whose multiplayer included a gamemode consisting of the following:

[LIST]
[*]Large scale maps, requiring decent amount of travel without being obnoxious
[*]Small player count (I would say that a maximum of 4-8 on a team.)
[*]High focus on long-range combat and the element of surprise
[*]Focus on use of camoflage, squad tactics, spotting, sniping, and related skills
[*]Limited vehicle use, but allowances for vehicular combat if the need arises
[/LIST]
Possible secondary aspects could be:

[LIST]
[*]NPCs in area, likely needing to be avoided in order to keep the mission uncompromised.
[*]Airdrops/parachuting in
[/LIST]
In summary, I'm looking for a game with a small, squad-based sniping focus, with one or two players acting as long range support while the close ones spot and call out targets on route to some objective.

On a similar note, I would be wondering if there are any games with a multiplayer focus of just pure, 1v1 or 2v2 long-distance sniping and emphasis on camoflage, cover, and using opportune locations to get the upper hand on your opponents.

What I looked at from that game didn't show much about multiplayer.

I'd say MAG. I have not played it but I hear the maps are pretty big and even though it's 255 players it's broken down into small squads that have different goals.

Everyone think's that its dead because the developers have been [I]very[/I] hesitant to release any gameplay video. Although, they have released models and skins and maps and all of that. It looks amazing.

To some extent Battlefield 2 is a good option for what you want, however it'd be best to play a private game with friends for that kind of gameplay. Since most of the pubs in BF2 are just somewhat uncoordinated kill fests. Arma 2 would also be a great option.
