Well I bought crossover for £25 then bought the orange box and installed it, then the orange box came out on mac. So when I download steam for mac can I just install it from the disc or do I have to download it from steam, and I bought the orange box for windows. :/
As far as I know if your Mac can read the disc then you can install it from the disk.
God made Steam Play for a reason. In other words, if you have it on a windows account, you'll get it on the same account on Steam.
You can copy all the .GCFs from your Windows computer to the proper directory on steam, since it uses the same ones. This way you won't have to download everything except for a few extra files.
Steam actualy dosent need discs. If you already put orangebox to your PC i think it should work automaticly and appear to your mac when you start steam.
if it's on your steam account it will be available when you logon to any version of steam you are using
i know this guy, he doesnt want to download it, our broadband sucks ass. I think copying teh GCF's is the way to go sam :)
You can just copy the .GCFs to an external hard drive or something then extract them onto your Mac's internal hard drive, then you wont need to install everything, only the odd files and a few updates. inb4macsux Edit: Wow, stupid FireFox lagging on me.
