Yes. It's EA who is making the game and delayed it. Obviously not Crytek or anything.
And if they have more time to work on it, it will be better.

Nothing wrong with delaying the game for further polish, but I have a feeling this is more about timing and avoiding CoD: Black Ops from stealing their show.

I was hoping for a Holiday season release but more polish is worth it. Meanwhile are there any good games coming out this year that haven't been pushed to 2011?
It's a good idea, seems like every game comes out during Fall so it was inevitable that it would be shadowed by bigger titles like COD: Black Ops which would be a shame because this game is going to be extreme.

Yep, it honestly will be nothing special but the majority of us will still buy it.
I will be pre-ordering Crysis 2 though, in fact I will be upgrading my computer to play it as well.
I have a very intimate relationship with the editor used in the creation of Crysis and am very fond of the company Crytek.
