By Dynamic Combat I mean you aim your attacks instead of just clicking once on a monster. Sort of like Sherwood Dungeon. Anyone know one? I wanted to play Darkfall but you have to pay.
Dungeons and Dragons Online.
Most good stuff aint free these days man. Also darkfall reduced it's price from $50 to $30 just try get some cash, Also forgot to Mention Darkfall has a 14day free trial.
Tera, should be released this Winter. It's not free but it's awesome.
Mortal Online, dunno if its free though.
Darkfall Online, Fallen Earth(?), APB, Planetside(?) There aren't many of them. Oh, wait, you said free. In that case, I can't really think of any. It's very rare you'll find an MMO with dynamic combat to begin with, let alone free.
Tera, should be released this Winter. It's not free but it's awesome.
Yep +1 for Tera, it looks great, not free but I don't think you'll be able to find a free MMO with a combat system like that.
There's vindictus, it's by nexon and blah blah going to suck blah blah. http://vindictus.nexon.net/ It runs on the source engine so it's got dynamic stuff, but it's lobby based so it's not really a mmo.
^Isn't that mabinogi heroes? EDIT: it is, why did they change the name?
^Isn't that mabinogi heroes? EDIT: it is, why did they change the name?
Yes it is, they probley changed the name because most people over here would expect it to be anime styled like mabinogi when it's actually really different as you can see.
Its stil... Nexon.
Nexon....No excuses...and you still have the high pitched girls...so yeah..
Ok I am willing to buy the games, but no monthly fees. I saw APB a while back so I might get that.

Continent of the Ninth
Dungeons and Dragons Online.
I've been playing this. It's not a bad game at all, I like it. It eats up some of my free time. If you're a little flexible and don't mind playing something more room-based, you could try out Savage 2.
Face of Mankind is like a Si-Fi MMO version of Counter Strike. It's completely run by players, so don't expect the dev team to just hand out engrossing quest lines.
Face of Mankind is like a Si-Fi MMO version of Counter Strike.
If by like Counter-Strike you mean it contains guns and you can buy things, then yes, it is exactly like Counter-Strike. It's also like Burnout Paradise since you can switch between 3rd and 1st person, and it's exactly like WoW since you play with other people!
S4 League is a good dynamic one.
S4 League is a good dynamic one.
It's also really lobby based. I could hardly call it an MMO, really.

It's close enough to Counter Strike though, since it has hit boxes and you have to actually aim instead of clicking monsters to death.

Face of Mankind, however its slowly dieing so I doubt it will be up for much longer.
It is nothing like cs. It could me more like a fps, but not like cs
Fom is a third person shooter. the first person is really broken, i dont know of anyone who uses it and is decent in combat.
You might like Dragonica, although it's a 3D sidescroller.
You might like Dragonica, although it's a 3D sidescroller.
I've played Dragonica but after about level 20 it got boring because of the grinding.
Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine. Yeah, I know it's anime-ish, but it's free and you actually have to focus on your demons and the way you fight. There are customizable skills so you can be what you want. It's not that bad, of course there's grinding, but the dungeons in the game make up for it, as you get a more exp in the dungeons than just exploring. You should check it out
:O It looks awesome I'm gonna try it out.
