Hello, i just started play wow and right now im 9lvl Undead Priest on Darksorrow(EU), and i want know there are 3 talant trees, but can some one tell me what each one do?I know one is for healing, but others?And what do you recommend me for first character?
Shadow is for damage dealing, dont know shit about holy and disc though, I recommend whatever you want to do, damage dealing or healing, its up to you.
Shadow is Damage, as said above, deals with DoTs (Damage over time) and a mix of some other funky spells (channeled snares, Direct damage casts)
Disc focuses on absorbing damage, Boosts your Power Word: Shield, you'll use that and use small heals to patch up people
Holy is all about direct healing, so flash heals, greater heals, aswell as majorly boosting your AoE Heals.
tl;dr
Shadow - Damage
Disc - Absorb
Holy - Direct Healing
Oh, and i'd say Shadow, its probably easiest.
Thanks, and what about dungeons, if i go shadow than i must heal someone?(if i register as Dps)
For the lowbie stuff you can heal as shadow, there really isn't much glaring difference untill around mid 20/30's where the talents really start to add up, so for the most part, random dungeons would be easier to sign as a healer (and its good to learn how to effeciantly heal without wasting mana :p) But if you're going shadow then you'd want to DPS more than heal, remember, if you're in a group as shadow and your healer is having troubles, just becuase your heal spec'd doesnt mean you cant lend a hand.
And again thanks.
Maybe there is any other tips or something, that can help me?
When healing in dungeons i prefer to bubble when they are on 1/4 health then heal to full health using - Renew,Heal/Greater Heal
As a spellcaster, learning to manage mana mid-fight is most important, no mana, then nothing happens from you. That's why I love hunters.
If you have some skill, you can heal in shadow until level 40 when you get your shadowform talent from shadow. But if you were exsclusevly leveling dungeons, pick one of the healing trees.
Holy = Healing constantly
Discipline = Damage Prevention
Another tip if you try to heal instances: Due to the BoA armour most tanks will be pretty confident and aggro a lot, you can take the strain off by bubbling before they enter combat. As of 3.1 they can still generate rage through the shield so there's no real downside.
Thanks for tips, i got a question, how much money i will need to remove 6 talents? I think i want to be more healer than dps, becouse i now played ~10 dungeons and i allways was healer and i liked it :P
Edit: i googled it and found, nvm

I do the opposite. Bubble all the time when he's on combat with full health, always keep the bubble. Heal when needed.
