First of all, im opening a new thread because in the megathread no one noticed my question.
So, mostly everytime I try to connect to a SMP server it fails and says "Failed to connect to server
connection timed out: connect"
and if I DO manage to get into a server, it mostly disconnects after a minute or so, blabbering something about failed connection or java.socket.something problem... Also I cant even talk or view the current players!
What do I do in the current situation?
edit: I just managed to get into a server, and I could talk and all, but after like 3 minutes the game lagged like hell and disconnected\crashed.
You wait.
Notch himself said this release is going to be incredibly buggy. Your problem will hopefully be fixed in the next update.
A friend of mine playes the SMP without any bugs, just a little lag from time to time, and I see thats the case with alot more people...
It would be best to ask for help on the minecraft forums.
I did. Absolutley ignored. I think it died and sank a few pages.
Well, then you're sunk. Like Arwin said, your best bet is to wait for whatever issue you've got to be resolved by Notch.
Well, all I have to say is, DAMN IT.
reinstall java, update graphic drivers, etc.
I think my graphic drivers are up-to-date and I will try to reinstall java.
