Hello, my current headset is breaking apart so I am looking for a pretty decent headset that has decent quality mic and sound quality. The price rang is within 30 dollars(US). Thanks :3
I'd like one too.

It takes a day or two to wear them in but once you do they are comfortable. Mic sounds great too [editline]02:34AM[/editline] Oh yeah I forgot to mention something. The cables are all reinforced. The cable coming from the headset is the two cables for sound and mic, which are then wrapped in a hard but flexible plastic. All the connections are reinforced with a hard plastic (which you can see in the pic as the red things at the connections). The in-line volume control and mic mute are really freakin handy too
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- I just bought that exact pair except I paid $60 CAD for them. Sometimes I hate Futureshop.
Rated heart :frown:
I was supposed to get a gift card with it, but it never came :saddowns:
I'll take oppurtunity to hijack the thread, same price range as OP but one that doesn't rape your ears with heat.
I'll take oppurtunity to hijack the thread, same price range as OP but one that doesn't rape your ears with heat.
Uh.... What? [editline]02:53AM[/editline] Oh lol. With the Gamecom headset I posted, my ears never get hot
Uh.... What?
He doesn't want a headset that could double as earmuffs in -40 below weather.
Logitec ClearChat, cheap and amazing. Some bad reviews but I have yet to have a problem and the sound quality is amazing. They are around $30.
Eh I bought a turtle beach, for $60, I'm not incredibly impressed. And the 16 ft cable is a pain in the ass. The ear cups are comfy though.
He doesn't want a headset that could double as earmuffs in -40 below weather.
Who the hell has heat problems with cover-the-ear headphones.
Who the hell has heat problems with cover-the-ear headphones.
People who overheat easy.
People who overheat easy.
Just get the ones i posted, you won't be disappointed. I don't think, anyway
People who overheat easy.
If you weigh like 300 pounds or something. Even in the summer heat I'm fine.
I have a headset, with a broken Mic and the sound plays up, guess I will buy this with some birthday money. Ordered, just went to the british bit :D
Who the hell has heat problems with cover-the-ear headphones.
I used to have a pair of those, when I wore them for more than 15 min they literally tried to melt my ears away :byodood:

[editline]08:06AM[/editline] Good quality though.
I should try that. My current headset is horrible [editline]09:09AM[/editline] sound wise
Very good sound wise but, like I said, they break fairly easy.
Very good sound wise but, like I said, they break fairly easy.
I can vouch for this, my first pair lost sound in the left ear and my second pair broke across the strap. Nethertheless, I'm going to be ordering a 3rd pair for myself because of the excellent sound and mic quality. I'll just have to be more careful with them.
http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-GameCom-Closed-Ear-Gaming-Headset/dp/B001E45XT4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1281079452&sr=8-1 $25-$30
Goddammit, I bought those on Amazon Canada or Future Shop for $50-$60, fuck me. One thing though, I've used them for a while and now the microphone feels weird sometimes when I rotate it, I'm afraid it'll break. Also, the material around the headphones and under the top got all gray/white-ish and ugly, but that's just me being obsessed with cleanliness.
if you can buy them i whould say the Shure SRH440 Your ears will fap, trust me and buy a separated mic.
Ok, thank you everyone I am looking into the Plantronics GameCom 367 headset.
Logitec ClearChat, cheap and amazing. Some bad reviews but I have yet to have a problem and the sound quality is amazing. They are around $30.
Terrible mic. Tons of problems. I had mine for a week and suddenly the microphone stopped working with no notice.
The gamecom WILL stap in half, just google it. Get a Koss SB49, it's the shit.
