Burn flaming logs, screaming robots, credit cards, batteries, exploding fish, unstable nuclear devices, and tiny galaxies. An adventure that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace - about looking up up up out of the chimney, and the cold world just on the other side of the wall. Key Features: - From the designers of World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure - 100% indie - made by 3 guys, no office, no publishers, no funding - IAP Free - no spam, upselling, ads, of any sort. Just the game. - Zero Waste - short, polished, perfeccct as possible Trailer: Gameplay:
Every video I have seen about this game just seems to shout out, look at this tec demo we made to show off fire. Does the game have any other purpose/gameplay other than burn shit?

There is also a twist at the ending.
Looks fun.
- 100% indie - made by 3 guys, no office, no publishers, no funding
That's a feature now? Interesting...
Looks really pointless but I guess I will be buying it.
Seems like this game would have made much more sense if it just went for F2p, especailly since it doesn't appear to actually be much of a game at all. Just seems like buying things to burn would have worked much better if the base game was free and you'd literally buy things (really cheap, like $0.25 for X item) to burn and mess around with. Because I can't really see people spending $15 outright on something like this Or maybe it costs $1 to get the base game (the fireplace and some generic unlimited items you can burn for free), occassionally you earn enough in-game coin to get new stuff to burn using the in-game system, or you could just buy (for cheap) other stuff to burn that you'd have forever. Other fireplaces would be avalable that you could buy that each would have their own unique shape/look to them and unique "base items" that you burn with it. Total maybe a player would spend $5-$10 max on this game/experiment but the dev would attract much more people, since dropping a dollar on neat little tech demo is much easier to swallow than dropping $15 on the same exact tech demo except with tons of things Also the fact that it almost looks exactly like World of Goo aesthetically doesn't help.
Also the fact that it almost looks exactly like World of Goo aesthetically doesn't help.
Are you serious? World of Goo is not only well known, but was highly rated too. Looking like World of Goo is a smart move, it gets fans excited that the developers have returned with something new. Just the game." was one of the points of them making the game, I think they're pretty devoted to having players NOT spend money after their initial purchase.
Pre-Purchase now, save 10%, and burn shit 10\10 great deal would buy again
World of Goo was my favorite indie game ever. everything about it was spot on, so i cant not try this
It does have a nice little story to go along with all the burning.
Looks fun but, 15€? No way.
Its enjoyable in a strange way. working out the different combos
just as you told me put all the shit togeter and let it burn BURN
I got the game. This seems like the kind of thing that would port right over to android and ios devices. It seems sort of designed around it or with the WiiU in mind... It seems kinda pointless, but it's still fun for reasons I can't comprehend. If I can ever get my hands on a WiiU I might pick it up again. Having the store and combos on the little pad and the fireplace up top seems pretty cool if that's how it's going to work out...
finish it you will know it will be worth by then also what are the [sp] 4 items you send to the girl?[/sp] [editline]19th November 2012[/editline] And..just ended the game holy fucking shit jesus christ that was so AMAZING
Just got the game in the Humble Bundle. There's a very twisted sense of humour in this game, I like it.
i accidentally burnt the hug coupon, fuck this
i accidentally burnt the hug coupon, fuck this
I never understood what was special about that ending. Unless I'm missing something, [sp]it's exactly the same bar getting a short hug.[/sp] I mean I was expecting something along the lines of [sp]The sun icon above your chimney turning gold or someshit, just for bragging rights[/sp]
