• Can your xbox live account get hacked?

Well I was on live today and I ran into one of those typical guys with a modded name 10th prestige and he wouldn't shut up about how he was the best hacker on live and how he hacks kids everyday etc. Well I told him to shut the fuck up and told him he was lying. Later he messages me saying "You're going to get hacked as of tomorrow!" That was a translation his grammar was really poor. I don't see how it's possible to hack people over xbox. Seems like everyone would be doing it to the elite gamers and moderators of xbox. So was this guys statement true or false? and why?
Complete bullshit, like all those idiots who think they can hack steam accounts just "like that", if I were you I'd report him to live for harassment (you can do this lololo.)
He can't.
message him back and be like "oh shit man please dont do that im sorry dude PLEASE"
It's about as bad as, "My Dad works for Microsoft, he will ban you!"

he is talking shit period
A friend of mine (call him Tyler) had him and his buddies (who were on his LAN at the time) go to a modded Modern Warfare 2 match, where everyone could sprint at breakneck speeds and have ridiculous rapid-fire RPGs. Tyler ended up running into the host, killing him, then dishing out the usual trash talk. The host didn't take it too kindly, and tweaked Tyler's and his buddies' stats to the lowest (negative numbers) they could go. They left the match, then realized that they could be reported for hacking stats even though it wasn't their fault. When they rejoined, he asked if he could get their stats returned to normal. The host wanted compensation. Someone else on the server suggested monetary goods. Tyler had a huge amount of Xbox Live subscription cards, so he went upstairs to get them, just in case. When they finally agreed to the exchange (money for stats? MW2 is a silly game) the host restored everyone's stats to normal values. Host: Ok, now give me the code on the card. Tyler: Well, about that. Host: Do you want your account hacked? Tyler: I don't. But I'm not going to give you the code. Host: Uhhh, why the fuck not? Tyler: Because you suck dicks. All you could hear was a loud voice for a quarter of a second, then everyone in the room unplugged their Xboxes as fast as they could. We sent someone else to the server to see what the result was, and the host was hacking everyone else's accounts who were on the server at the time (he could only steal if you were on his modded match, for some reason). We ended up reporting him on Xbox.com, but we never heard back. TL,DR yes, but OP's story is likely some foreign kid who doesn't know how and just got lucky with name entry or something.
I just got done talking with him again and he says "You'll be hacked by tomorrow and if my hacking is unsuccessful I will just hit you offline for months." My instincts are calling major shenanigans.
just give him your account now man it's all over
You can't hack a xbox live account, maybe like if you log into xbox.com and you got a keylogger on your shit yeah. But besides that no, he can't touch your shit. But there is a possibility that he can, maybe with the power of a robotic Jesus god that can hack into shit
