Trials Evolution - "Survival of the Fastest" - Games

Let's get started.[/B][/TD] [/TR] [/TABLE] If you don't know what this, you've either been sleeping under a very slow rock, or your fancy hat simulators have been getting in the way of the high-speed action of Trials Evolution. [sp]Or I think this game is bigger than it really is.[/sp] But it's okay, I'm here to help. You see, Trials Evolution is exactly what the name suggests. Time Trials. Remember playing Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing back in the day and trying to see what kind of crazy times you could get on each track? Did your friends try to beat your times? [sp]What do you mean you just played multiplayer?[/sp] Trials is exactly that. Competing against the free world in a physics-based race to the finish, using your beautiful piece of machinery we call a dirtbike. [HR][/HR] [IMG]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1445439/trialsthegame.png[/IMG] Trials focuses on using physics to control the rider as he progress through expertly crafted tracks in an attempt to get the fastest possible time with the least amount of faults. The game does a great job of teaching new players how everything works, and slowly raises the difficulty as you progress. The community is absolutely bananas, they've made some really cool tracks. Downloadable tracks are in the "Track Central" portion of the main menu. The best tracks are under "Redlynx Picks", but there's gold to be found elsewhere. Even if you're new to the series, there are tracks of all difficulties. There's always something new to play! The editor itself is very deep, but very easy to learn. In addition to plenty of set pieces, there's event triggers, particles, lights, terrain modification, and other features to help you make the perfect map. And with Track Central, it's easy to share your maps and get them noticed! You can even build entirely new games out of it. It's worth a look if you like to create rather than compete. Im tempted to buy this but I dont know if its worth the $20 tag, maybe im just poor.

Gold Edition on PC comes with Trials HD content, it's almost like getting two games in one. :) Of course, I'm addicted to the game so... I really like this game, I want them to patch it more though. I still get some FPS problems :(

Well, checking this game out a bit more, im definitly going to buy it on steam. If any one else has it, we should all play some user levels some time. Ill post my steam id later when I buy it. :downs:

If you guys on PC are having issues, check out the Xbox version if you have a 360. It runs perfectly, though it is missing Trials HD content. (I'm so jealous you guys get that...)
