I don't know about you, but I think that it's nigh time for a Starcraft 2 tournament on Facepunch!
This tournament will include prizes (a total of a jaw-shattering $40!), happy thoughts, unicorns, and many other wonderful things I'm sure I'll edit in here later.
Anyone who wants to enter has until [b]Tuesday, August 10th at 5PM EST [GMT -5][/b], or until we hit 32 entrants, whichever comes first.
[b]How to enter[/b]
All you have to do is post in this thread, saying that you'd like to be in the competition.
In your post, you are to include your Starcraft 2 name, your identifier, and time zone (so I can try to pair you up with people in a similar area).
I'm sorry to say, but due to Starcraft 2's region-lock and the region that I'm in, only people in the NA region will be able to enter the competition unless you manage to borrow an account.
[b]How it's gonna go down[/b]
Once I get all the names of the entrees, I will be drawing up a ladder.
This ladder will be played out in a series single-elimination games until 8 players are left. At this point, the matches will be Best of 3.
To determine third place, a Best of 3 match will be played between the people that lost to the first and second place players.
When a game is completed, the winner of the match will be sending the replay to [email]competition_replays@hotmail.com[/email]
After the ladder is set up and each ladder update, you and your opponent will have 24 hours to play your match.
If your opponent doesn't show up, make sure you send me a PM or contact me via Steam (login name is Percent20Ben), or you both will be eliminated from the competition.

The winners will be able to choose to receive a cash prize via PayPal, or something of equal or lesser value in the Steam store.
First Place - $25
Runner-Up - $15
Second Runner-Up - $10
[b]Post-Tournament[/b]
After the tournament is over, I'll be contacting the winners to give them their prizes.
I'll also be posting the replays of all the games so you can download and watch them for your viewing pleasure.

In SC2, while in the Bnet menu, click on your friend list. Click where it says add friend, and in the box that pops up, it will tell you your identifier.
