I bring you the song sang at the end of portal. I edited to make the song shorter without the pause in the middle. There is a download link in the description:

We have a million versions of this already. Stop making new ones until we get an official release (Mike never responded to my question about it, so maybe it will come.)
It's a really nice song.
I'm not a diction expert, but those lyrics can't be right. Listen to some of the vowels.
Alright guys. I'm going to go ahead and make a mix of this song. A lot of people don't seem to realize that the Bink video has a billion different tracks with all sorts of data (for constructing 5.1, 7.1 versions at runtime, etc). From an engineering standpoint, it's a really fascinating system, and it manages to save a lot of space!
It should be fun.
PS. While you wait, here's Animal King's part. Majestic.

Best I can do with the provided data:
2MB MP3

6MB FLAC

I extracted the parts, and it wasn't nearly as exciting as I thought it would be : (

Well now I have to ask how you get at the audio like that.

I would apreciate if you give me the "real" lyrics. I would like to understand what it says. In fact, it encouraged me to start learning italian.
Oh how I wish this could be longer, it's so short.
Come to think of it, I can do surround or custom rips any of Valve's trailers. Anyone have any in mind they want?
Co-op trailer
EDIT:
It just sounds like OP recorded the cinematic and then (abruptly (meaning very obviously) and blatantly) cut the silence in the middle out.

chapter one, where wheatley does manual override
uhhh
Ellen McLain, the voice of GlaDOS, was originally an Opera singer.
I'll try. The dialog and sound effects channel is in mono, so it doesn't really cancel out all the stereo effects, but it'll be better than it was.
Oh God yes, I've wanted the co-op trailer song ever since I first heard it.
chapter one, where wheatley does manual override
This. I loved the music in the background going along with the alarms and the announcer
Was this a parody of an actual opera song? cos i'd like to hear a long version
Was this a parody of an actual opera song? cos i'd like to hear a long version
It wasn't a parody at all
chapter one, where wheatley does manual override
I don't think that ones possible, its a Stereo Wav. Yes, just one WAV with the voice and music in the same file.
Unless I'm not looking at it right.
Was this a parody of an actual opera song? cos i'd like to hear a long version
It's an actual opera song with actually relevant lyrics.
Does anyone knows if the song was made by Johnatan Coulton?
Does anyone knows if the song was made by Johnatan Coulton?
I'm sure it'd probably be in the credits, and only two songs were there as being made by Jonathon Coulton, Still Alive and Want You Gone.

I second this. I wanted "The Hall of Science" with "Science Can Be Fun" since I saw the trailer on TV
I like this better than "Want You Gone"
I like that triplet flair the solo turret gives shortly after the animal king comes in.
At one point in the song you can see the shadow of a Frankencube on the concrete wall.
I thought that was cool.

You only said wait a few weeks half an hour ago.
And what's going to happen in a few weeks?
This song always gives me chills. It's also like being happy and sad at the same time.

I thought the song was in Spanish when i first heard it because I heard "che la stima" as "Que lástima."
Actually I still think that might be what it's saying although the rest is in Italian, as che la stima doesn't make that much sense.
che la stima is said in Spanish. The rest is Italian
Is a language paradox!
