For those who has missed this game, it's basically a zombie survival game with randomly generated worlds, houses, trees, rocks, mailboxes(yeah you get the idea, everything's randomly generated). The basic concept about this game is survival. You need to gather food, find weapons and make sure to not get killed in the process of doing so. It's still on it's baby legs but if you can overlook some of it's flaws(Like jaggy animations and it's overall buggy look) you should see the true potencial of this game. In it's current state it's around 20 bucks or so(if i remember it correctly). Oh and, did i mention it's on Steam greenligt too? The newest build showcase(build 009) It also has multiplayer-co op The developers website http://www.sandswept.net/ And it's official blog http://www.thedeadlinger.com/
Yes, it's a rather fun game, good post man :)
There's already a thread on this. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1174003
This looks like it has a lot of potential!
I am truly sorry for bumping the thread. But this game is not dead! The devs are currently in the process of changing engines from Ogre over to Unity3d. Yesterday they got around to posting actual WIP in progress images: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/yOxOPH2.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/fBYFif3h.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/1KOAm4rh.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/2YYr0TU.jpg[/thumb] http://imgur.com/a/Bf9ma It looks like they are keeping most of the features in The Big Engine Change™ So yeah this game is not dead by any stretch of the imagination. You can view what they have planned here: http://www.thedeadlinger.com/roadmap Theres quite a lot there.

That itself makes the game 10x better looking TBH [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] True shadows I mean, before it was just bright everywhere.
Well I guess we needed an updated OP anyway. The game has made some great progress as of late.
Anyone up for a Coop game later on?
This game is so god damn fun, I love how intense it can get when you're looking for loot.
Should I wait for it to get greenlit or buy it now? Worried about security.
They finally got round to making blog post.
Should I wait for it to get greenlit or buy it now? Being greenlit doesn't mean much since they are obviously putting effort into the game.
