So i have been replaying many 64 games from my early childhood because they're the best games ever made. Unless you were born before 1990 in which case for some reason thats the border between the 64 kids and the SNES kids. Star Fox of course was nostalgia coming out my ears, as was Mario 64, Golden Eye,Super Smash Bros, and for some reason i couldn't put down pokemon snap....But the game that just wasn't the jem i remembered it to be was perfect dark. Confusing levels,Uninteresting characters, shitty guns. Can anyone who has played it recently or remembers it well gimme some feed back?
I played it recently and I was confused as fuck as how to play. But after a few hours I loved it again. Also, I forgot to put in the memory expansion. So that's was a few hours of 'What the fuck?'
They re-released it on the Xbox360, but completely redid the textures and models. I have heard some good things about it.
It is a good game. imo it was better than Goldeneye

This is one of the few N64 games I still play over ten years later.

oh yeaaah wallhack gun
But you can call me ELVIS!
I've been playing the XBLA version a lot, combat simulator never seems to get old. Some of the single player mission objectives can be frustratingly vague, but it's still damn fun
I've yet to play the remake, but I remember liking the original. It was Goldeneye, but bigger in scope. The levels were generally bigger, and more nonlinear from what I remember, which is cool as it gives each of the games a different feel.
What was horrible was matches against 7 Dark SpeedSims You'll cry for sure.
