PS3 Slim or Xbox 360 Slim - Games

Hi There, Right, I have no idea whatsoever to get. I have the money for PS3 or Xbox. They're both great consoles but I just can't decide on which to get. The PS3 has blu-ray but I have no desire for that but it also has some better games than Xbox. More of my friends have Xbox but PSN is free. HELP?! Thanks! :)

Neither. Save up the money on a better cause or a gaming PC. Reading the bottom post I shall make a better suggestion: If you get an Xbox, be prepared to shell out money monthly to pay for Xbox Live(if you get it). Getting a PS3 seems like a better deal.

I have both and honestly I play my PS3 more because of the games.

XBL just raised their prices. PS3.

If you don't have a gaming PC, it depends on which games you like to play. PS3 has more Japanese/eastern support, 360 has more western support though many titles this gen are multiplatform. Ps3 is free to play online, 360 has a better (albeit slightly) feature list online. If you have a gaming PC, get a PS3.

Microsoft has already confirmed its full support for family content, if you look for some decent games in the future then get the PS3 (with the monthly fee on the 360 rising by 20% for no reason I wouldn't think twice).

I would say PS3. In addition to getting a great console (with some quite unique exclusives), you'll get a blu-ray player that will most likely become more useful in the future.

It has better exclusives coming out in the near future (as well as better exclusives in the past few months really). For the best features? Probably the PS3 since it is a seriously delved out media center as well as a console. For better internet service? 360. You get what you pay for, and Live is superior. On the other hand PSN is by no means bad and it's free. PSN+ is pretty good although I don't find it worth it. So for my vote, PS3 for being a media center and console all in one plus free multiplayer.

I play my PS3 more then my Xbox, Mainly because I can hop onto the PS3 online without having to worry about a subscription.

PS3 Gran Turismo 5 is coming out in the next few months. If you are a racing fan, of course.

PC. save your money and buy a good PC. it doesnt need to be one of those flashy gaming rigs either. just get a computer that can run good PC games and your all set. ps3 graphics are low. xbox 360 online prices are high. PC has 0 online prices AND good graphics.
