I felt the need to share this game, I had so much fun playing LAN parties with all my friends when I was younger. Damn, brings back memories.. :sigh:
If you don't own it or haven't played it, I suggest you try it out. $7 on amazon.

Either really bad troll, or 13 years old, or both.
Only good MoH game, in my opinion.
The title always confounded me though. Why the hell is it called "Allied Assault" when all you do is play as the bloody Yanks?
There hasn't been a good medal of honor game since this. I fucking love the mission where you disguise yourself as a german and sabotage the U-boat.

It's a reference to operation overlord. During the briefing the guy mentions "Allied Assault" because of USA, Canada, and UK (that's all I remember if there are more then I am sorry) assaulting the beaches
Since somebody mentioned it, I always wondered about Rising Sun; it was an alright MoH, certainly not the best, but I recall it ending with "To be continued" or something and some odd story cliffhanger. Did they ever actually conclude it?

At the checkpoints where you have to show your papers, don't at first.
Instead, open the console and read the messages.
Something else which also kind of puzzles me.
Allied Assault and Frontline seem very similar. Rising Sun and that Pacific one sound very similar. Are they just different names for the same games or what? :v:
Oh right console releases and PC releases. Makes sense.

Or a joke maybe?
The game's levels are often compared to Steven Spielberg's 1998 film Saving Private Ryan; many of the levels are direct quotations of the scenery (or even complete sequences as in the Omaha Beach mission) in the film. This level was re-created in Medal of Honor: Frontline for consoles.
herp derp people can't take a joke
Rising sun was great you could nut shoot Japs (No racism intended)
This is really the only MoH game I could ever get into, loved it to death.
I loved this game, mostly because I just saw Saving Private Ryan and few days later my bro bought this game.
Holy shit, I actually reinstalled this the other day for nostalgia reasons.
Is it actually possible to get to the sub while still in disguise? No matter what I do, after I kill that one officer for his idenity, the entire base goes balistic.
