As the title says, I'm looking for the original .dds image of the halo 2 golden warthog. I'm not very good at making it myself, and I really want to put it in my mods I'm making. It seems like every link is broken when i try to download something, so I was hoping someone in the FP community would have it or would know where i could find it without getting a broken download link?

That is was a joke and some clever lighting? The best you'll find is someone else's custom texture.

no no, i know =/ I'm a modder; I've look at the code myself. I just need the custom texture. I'm going to make a golden warthog that shoots scarab gun shots from the place where the horn should be XD and if I can successfully clone the warthog i"m also going to make a bus warthog...odd but fun.

I didn't think you could mod Halo 2 on the PC either, at least, not like people used to on the Xbox. Oh man, I remember the first time shooting Spartans from the Plasma Pistol.... Kept me entertained and laughing for hours :P
Hehe, I remember me and some xbox live friends always tried to use that sword bug to get up to one of the buildings on a map in Halo 2, because we thought there was a golden warthog there. Was good times.

One morning we spent a good few hours using the spectre side seat + sword glitch getting on top of the "X building" only to find nothing up there. IIRC tommo120 was there too that morning :v:
