Don't know if you guys know or care about it, but considering this is an MMO/FPS and such, I might as well post it for those who do or do not know.
Hello ijji.com users, Please read our official statement regarding the service of Huxley below. I have also included a quick Q&A section as a post below so please take a look as it has a little more detailed information. Sincerely, GM_Pocari ------------------------------------------------------------------- Official Statement NHN USA has agreed to transfer future international publishing plans of Huxley: The Dystopia back to its developer, Webzen. Both NHN USA and Webzen are internal divisions of NHN Corporation, and Webzen is currently revamping their international publishing platform. As part of this new global program, Webzen intends to self-publish Huxley. Our team at NHN USA fully support this decision after serious internal discussions between both divisions. NHN USA will continue to work with Webzen on current and future publishing projects and expects great success for Huxley as a global product. We are excited to move forward with other fun games in development and production for ijji.com, and believe our current and future titles will continue to prove ijji.com is a premier online destination for hardcore gamers. NHN USA wants to assure its community that G Coin Cards branded with Huxley imaging will remain valid as long as they’re purchased through an authorized retailer. NHN USA also appreciates the hard work and talent of the Webzen development teams. We will continue to work with Webzen on other titles. We also remain, like many gamers, appreciative of the high quality and fun games created with the Unreal Engine 3, as noted with our popular multiplayer online FPS, Alliance of Valiant Arms.

Huxley Q&A: 1. Why did ijji.com decide to transfer back to WebZen, the rights to publish Huxley for North America? ijji.com values its reputation as a preeminent hardcore gaming portal, and is committed to offering the highest quality online gaming experiences. As an internal partner with Webzen, we all agreed it would make most sense to allow them to publish this game on their terms and timeline. 2. What sort of reaction do you expect from your community, especially considering how anticipated this title has been for your company’s library? We have been extremely grateful for the enthusiasm our community has shown for Huxley, from the time we first announced it, through the closed beta testing period. We understand many of these fans will be disappointed, but encourage them to continue enjoying our current stable of FPS titles, including Soldier Front and Alliance of Valiant Arms, and remind them two more great FPS games are being readied for launch in Genesis A.D and KARMA: Operation Barbarossa. Players just got an early look at KARMA this month during a closed beta test, which recently wrapped up. We’re excited to go over the testing information and use it to prepare a great title. 3. What’s wrong with the game? There is nothing wrong with the game itself. This is really an internal business decision which was made between two partner divisions of NHN Corporation. 4. The game is playable in Korea, why not launch it and let players try it since they’ve been waiting so long for it to launch in North America? We value Webzen as a partner and wouldn’t want to speak for them in terms of their future publishing plans for Huxley. 5. Is Huxley further indication that the idea of a triple-A free-to-play game can’t happen? The free-to-play model works very well for us and we believe our 11 million-strong community of gamers would agree it provides them with a tremendous value. Players determine what is truly a “triple-A” title for online gaming with their time and support and we treat all of our titles like they’re triple-A titles because our players expect it. 6. Where does this leave ijji.com? This doesn’t affect the future of ijji.com in any way. If anything, we feel making this decision and moving forward actually helps our company and growth as a leading online gaming platform. While some might think we’re reluctant to part ways with Huxley, this was not a decision made in haste. So we’re excited to move forward and prove to gamers we will continue to offer high-quality, entertaining and communal experiences at ijji.com 7. Does this affect the stability of ijji.com as a company? Absolutely not. ijji.com has fun games for hardcore gamers now and we’re adding more exciting titles, including KARMA: Operation Barbarossa, which just wrapped up a closed beta test earlier this month, as well as Genesis A.D, which already offered a closed beta session earlier this year. Players enjoyed their time testing Genesis A.D and we expect to hear positive feedback about the quality of KARMA as well. 8. What does ijji.com have to replace Huxley on its schedule? For gamers still anxious for a fun, exciting, online Sci-Fi first-person shooter, ijji.com has already conducted closed beta testing on Genesis A.D. Players who have already signed up for Alliance of Valiant Arms know it offers an amazing value as a free-to-play modern military online multiplayer FPS. There is also some real excitement to show off the alternate history backdrop for KARMA: Operation Barbarossa, which just finished a closed beta test. Not only will players have fun playing on either side of World War II – there are some really interesting, fun mechanics in how players will level up in KARMA. Our pipeline of games is very strong and we expect it to keep getting better as we approach 2011. 9. Does this mean ijji.com will be shifting its strategy for the future? Our strategy remains the same – ijji.com wants to be considered a premier online destination for hardcore gamers. There are going to be some great new titles coming and ijji.com offers numerous great titles. 10. What happens to the Pre-paid G Coin Cards with the Huxley image? G Coin Cards branded with Huxley imaging will remain valid as long as they’re purchased through an authorized retailer. 11. What are Webzen’s plans for the game now? When will they be publishing it for North America? We value Webzen as a partner and wouldn’t want to speak for them in terms of their future publishing plans for Huxley. 12. Will Huxley ever be available for North American gamers? NHN USA has transferred publishing rights for North America back to Webzen and you’ll have to contact them for more information on the future of Huxley.
