Don't know if this has been already posted, or if it's old news, sorry about it if it is.
I didn't quite know where I could post this, but I decided to put it here with the obvious relation to Half Life.
You may have already seen this short film "Whats in the box?"

Some people used to believe that this was just a viral video for marketing about cellphones. And some started to believe right away that it had something to do with Valve and the Half Life Saga
It's a fan made short film related in someway to Half Life Saga, congratulations to Tim Smit, the creator. But If you didn't know about this try out the ARG created around this short film, it is prety fun. Here is the site: http://www.whatsinthebox.nl/ , just click on the red circle butons to start exploring this ARG.
In one of the pages you will find the Black Mesa and Aperture Science logo's at the botom, along with the Babel Research Group logo
If this is old news just ignore it...
Also, credits to Frozen that found a trailler made by a fan of "Whats in the box?"

This trailler is in epic porpotions
Didn't think this was a Half-Life reference, until I saw the fucking Citadel. And maybe the "Combine", too.
This shit
is the OLDEST shit
Yes it's old, but It's still an interesting movie.
Even more for Dutch people because it's made here in Holland.
I remember this from a while back.
It's still a cool little film though.
Didn't think this was a Half-Life reference, until I saw the fucking Citadel. And maybe the "Combine", too.
That was not a citadel, and those where not combine... besides the sound effects used (it is explained why in the site) , and the logos in the Babel Research site, no relation to Half Life has been found yet. this short film will be related to half life in some other way that is not that obvious.
A new teaser has been released not long ago.

Oh, it's that cube thing again.
Huh, didn't know about the newer videos.
What the hell, Ive never seen this.
I wonder why there aren't such mysterious mindfuck movies out there
Seriously this is awesome, haven't seen before

Don't know if this is newer than the New teaser, but it's awesome.
Also I can't wait until he is finished.

Don't really care for videos made in my own country tbh.
Doesn't extreme amounts or radiation cause bleeding and nausea on humans?

No you die
No you die
I meant in the short-terms genius, as in minutes.
Fishers watching the chernobyl explode and burn at the cooling water-channel started bleeding from their noses, and then womiting after that just within couple of minutes
I remember when they interviewed the guy who made this short. Never said a thing about Half-Life or using any of it's resources.
wow the second teaser is actually new and is pretty awesome
Check the Black Mesa and Aperture Science logo's at the botom of this page babel-research.eu
. linked directly from whatsinthebox.nl
It has to be related to half life in some way.
The ARG is awesome by the way.
My "Theory" is that the "Babel Research" is kinda like the Europe version of Black Mesa.
second video, MMX = 2010.

FAN TRAILER, apparently by a 16-year old. Holy shit.
I can't believe I missed that "new" teaser.
I've never seen this before, so it's new to me.
Give me the OP's clocks.
I haven't seen this either, it's fucking amazing.

JEBUS!!! Thats a epic trailler! I'm going to add that to my post.
The first video has nothing to do with HL, they just used some resources, after it went viral the guys got approached with a bunch of movie offers and thus the newer teasers.

In the Babel Research site ( most likely the scientific research building in the begining of the video) you can find these 2 logo's:

It has to do something with half life, even if it is just a easter egg.
THE GODDAMN SERIES IS NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO VALVE OR ANY OF THEIR GAMES!
This has nothing to do with the storyline.
Episode 3 has nothing to do with this
Congratulations on bitching about nothing.
You do realize nobody in this thread is saying anything of the sort, right? Read the thread next time.
It's a fan made short film related in someway to Half Life Saga
Well when it's said that it is FAN FICTION i'm assuming that people already know that valve has nothing to do with it. We are just discussing what about half life is the creator involving in this project.
So yhea, you are bitching about nothing.
