If this is not the correct section I apologize, I didn't think this was as relevant in any other section nor did I believe it would get as many views. Alright, so a couple of years ago I remember reading an article online about the Java 4K game making competition, where competitors would have to create a game in java with a source code file size less than 4KB. http://www.java4k.com/index.php?action=home I remember seeing a couple of entries, but the one that really stood out to me was called 'Left 4k Dead' (which you can play here: https://mojang.com/notch/j4k/l4kd/ ). Created by some guy nobody had ever heard of who worked on Wurm Online and for some online flash arcade site, his name was Markus 'Notch' Perrson. I remember being interested in who he was, so I went to the directory site (mojang.com) and was greeted with some incredibly strange short story. The only details of which I remembered were someone named Markus being born and his father was pleasuring himself to gay porn or something. A year or so down the road, (or whenever Minecraft came out) I recognized the guy's name from the Left 4K Dead game, and I tried to visit that old short story. mojang.com had been changed to something minecraft related and the story was no longer there. Around last year or so I remembered that incredibly weird short story. I ended up e-mailing Notch about it but never got a reply. For a while I thought I could've simply been mistaken, that I read that short story in some weird creepy pasta thread. But this afternoon I realized there was the way back machine which archived old websites and allowed you to view them. I tried to remember when I could've possibly visited his website and seen that short story. I loaded up the WBM archives and went to the first logged date for the website, which had a missing image file. Then I went to something too recent, like anything post 2010 had a link to his about me page. Then I realized that I would have had to have visited his website around the release of Left 4K Dead. In the link for L4KD, you can see it was the 2009 4K competition, I loaded up the very first logged website in January of 2009 (logged in the WBM as January 5th) and lo and behold, it was there. Copy pasted from his website: ( http://web.archive.org/web/20090105160928/http://www.mojang.com/ )
Tell me about PGGPGGP. The first time I met him, he told me about his parents. At first, it kind of freaked me out, getting that personal from the start, but he really won me over with the way he told the story. I told him he should get into acting. He was good looking, and had a very secure and strong air about him, and with that voice he could definitely play some awesome father figures when he got older. He said he'd done some porn. I asked if he was any good, and he said yes. Turns out he lied, but he sure was hung. Perhaps that's what he meant by good. His parents had been part of this weird cult thing, that's how they first met. Some psychiatrist said they had been brainwashed, so they all got separated and spent months in pretty heavy therapy. Years later, his dad was on this tv show talking about the experience, and his mom had seen him. She called the network and somehow got his phone number. They met, did the nasty, then she killed him. He wouldn't say how. He was born in prison. After being released, his mother regained custody of him. She was a good mother, but he ran away when he found out the truth. I said I couldn't blame him. He said she killed herself. I said I was sorry. We got engaged, but never married. I don't believe he was a psychopath. People say he was. Sometimes he would stare at strangers behind their backs, but he always treated me right. The sex got better with time, and I never caught him lying to me. He never cried, not even when Markus died. I once caught him pleasuring himself to gay porn. He said he liked their bodies. Markus? Who? Oh yeah, sorry. Markus was our son. He was the most beatiful baby I had ever seen. Seriously, he was like an angel. Like a tiny, torn up angel. When he was born, he was all broken and twisted up. Other children avoided him, but he didn't seem to mind. He would sit by himself, clapping his hands. He never cried. The doctors said it was because his brain was broken, but I think he got it from his dad. He didn't even cry when he got hurt, he would just sit down and wait for help. One day, he got hurt really bad, but we didn't notice until it was too late. He bled to death with a faint smile on his lips, like he was enjoying it. His father saw him, called for an ambulance, but never touched the body. Jesus christ. Something like that.
The earliest we can see this story is December 26th of 2008, and the latest you can see it is March 3rd of 2009, with the next logged web page stating:
There used to be a disturbing short story here. I got rid of it because I'm a coward. :D - Notch
The name 'Markus' in the short story is a link to his about me page. He never did reply to my e-mail asking him about the short story, and I have never been able to find anyone mention this whenever I searched google. Anyone have any thoughts as to what it could be?
that's really creepy
That doesn't sound like a vacation at all!
wheres the hyper-realistic blood?
it stayed on the screen for 4.5 seconds
I'm spooked.
Notch is an undead psychopath cultist?
what the fuck
That was actually really neat. I specifically enjoyed some of the things he said like "He was an angel. A tiny, torn up angel". Very strong.
Is that the whole story? It seems like it's just the setup for a good creepypasta... unless I'm missing something.
what the fuck did I just read lol
No skeletons popped out, 3/10.
Not enough sonic, would not pasta.
Hope some more light is shed on this.
Wait what I'm so confused.
