Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a 2010 racing video game in development by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. A version for Wii is also developed by Exient. The game will support 3D-display output on PlayStation 3 and Windows. Hot Pursuit has been described as a "revolutionary" addition to the Need for Speed franchise and is scheduled for release in North America on November 16, 2010, and in Europe on November 19.
Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit goes back to the Need for Speed series' roots and takes on the gameplay style of earlier "Hot Pursuit"-titles in the Need for Speed franchise with exotic cars and high-speed police chases.

It's like Burnout, with real cars.
I fucking loved the gamecube version of this
I fucking loved the gamecube version of this
It's the new one.
So keen for this.
I was hoping it was the really old one, because I have almost every need for speed game that was made before 2003.
If it's even half as good as the original I will unleash a torrent of fluids in my pants.
Would EA stop milking NFS and come up with new Titles with original ideas?
There's gonna be a NFS: Shift 2 ffs

Who cares, this actually looks good and Criterion is helping with it.
I thought this was going to be crap, but when I saw Criterion, I jizzed

That's why my hopes are up for this one. I hope they go back to their old roots, and if they do, i'll buy it.

They did.
For me this game isn´t all that new, is just an simple Need for Speed Hot Pursuit game. Need for Speed needs to get to the next level, I am not talking about Shift 2 but in realism in Asian city´s, I want an NFS sanbox game that beats Underground 2! Drive an car, costumize it in every point, and camera inside the car like the one in Shift, costumize all the car inside (interiors). This games of Cops and Racer´s is getting a little old, but this game might be good, but not for me, I will just play Hot Pursuit 2 on my PS2. This is my thinking, so respect it, it´s just a comment. (I know someone will call me names)
They did.
Back to their old roots as in before Most Wanted.
The PC really needs a Forza 3 / GT5 equivalent
I like arcade racing games too and this game looks pretty fun but come on
The more I think of this, the more I get annoyed
I want the old tracks from NFS3 back, along with the music and cop cars
but next gennnnn
Imagine, Tan Diablos chasing you through a recreated Redrock Ridge
I am jizzing myself
If it has the El Niño from the original, it's an instabuy from me.
They said ever car will have a police variant :allears:
Looks like a gigantic piece of shit.
Criterion made absolute ASS of hot pursuit, BOOST? BOOST DRIFTING? rear wheel drifting on an AWD lamborghini? what in the fuck.
Criterion is into this? Dangit, just stick with Burnout.
will be buying this.
when i saw criterion games doing at e3, i literally jumped out of my chair in excitment.
(i was watching the live feed on ign.com)
[editline]03:13PM[/editline]
this better have customization, exploration, and are able to attract cops by smashing civilians.
and this better not turn into a powerup fest like blur.

Sorry but it think that this game is going to be an simple Hot Pursuit 2 in HD, and what I saw in E3, didn´t make me exicted, just worried, because they can´t make anything new to the NFS franchise.
They said ever car will have a police variant :allears:
Some cars are exclusive to one side only.
Example, a Murcielago SV in the speeders side and Veyron in the cops.

What the hell does any of that mean?
I thought this was a thread about the original. I didn't know there was a new one coming out.
I suppose this is why they stopped making Burnout Paradise DLC.
Just watched the trailer. It seems like Burnout with police cars.
I love Burnout and Hot pursuit, but I'm not sure I like this.
Back to their old roots as in before Most Wanted.
You mean before Underground.
What the hell does any of that mean?
No idea.
Probably he want some realism into the game.
Or maybe, he's trolling.
Hah realism in Need For Speed, that's a good one.
Hah realism in Need For Speed, that's a good one.
They did it in SHIFT.
But, I will not consider it as true Need for Speed.
The PC really needs a Forza 3 / GT5 equivalent
Race might be the closest.

Even with expansions it doesn't have near the amount of cars the other do though.
They did it in SHIFT.

Shift isn´t a real need for speed?
For me, yes it is. And it´s even more, is an driving simulator that beats many games that are out there.
For me Underground 1, Underground 2 and Shift are the best in the series.
This had better be like Hot Pursuit 2...
