For so long? It's only been 2 years.
For the 6 years I've had Half-Life 2 I only opened the box ONCE to put the key in Steam.
This is your fault and your fault only, next time don't lose your shit.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I still have my Half Life 2 copy with the CD key in it.
What if I never bought a Steam game on retail and got my account stolen?

So long? I still have my HL1 case and CD key from 1998 :colbert:
You don't have to give them the Orange Box key specifically, there are multiple ways you can do this.
1) Keys of another game registered to your account.
2) Ask them if you can provide credit card information instead.
Steam support has always been awesome with me. Granted I never had something like this.
don't worry hippie, you'll fix this
well i couldve gotten my hl1 case if the faggot who gave me the key wasnt an asshole.

You sir, have a problem.
You're an idiot if you accept gifts from people you can't trust. You're greed and stupidity is what is causing you to lose your account. Also, why are you whinging about it here? Another kid loses his account to an obvious scam, big deal. It happens every day.
It's not Valve support's fault that you're gullible. It's your fault. Accept it's your fault and look after your account. I, and many other people have had accounts for over 5 years without being keylogged, phished or had the account disabled once.
Valve now asking for random cd-keys registered on Steam Account because of new type f phishing scam that i posted below.
