Roblox Megathread V1 - "Why can't these kids shut up?" - Games

You don't really win anything except for fame and glory. Here's the details. This map must be a Brickbattle map, no teams, and have the standard brickbattle weapons. (Rockets, swords, paintball guns, bombs, shovel, slingshot, and superballs.) Those simple weapons, no more, no less. There may be other upgrades, such as a better sword or fast rocket, but they cannot be in the starting weapons and cannot be too overpowered. (Multi-fast rockets that on explosion, kill everyone but himself.) The map must have a lot of destructible stuff, and be pretty basic in the sense that it has not too many decals or scripts. It should be pretty big, much like Crossroads and Chaos Canyon. There should be something in it saying "Facepunch" in some way. This place may use as many free models as you want, but try to keep the colors matching and not too vibrant, that can strain the eyes. [/release] [release]Roblox is a simple building game where you build various things with building blocks much like legos, and script objects with LUA. The main draw is the online multiplayer, which is usually broken down into three types. [b]War[/b], where you kill other people with rockets, swords, and sometimes tanks. War has a couple main weapons: "Rockets" which are slow reloading slow flying weapons of destruction, "Swords", "Paintballs" which are simply guns that recolor objects, "Bombs" which spawn on your head and blow up, a "shovel" which makes a wall of blocks, the "slingshot" which are simply a spammy machine gun, and "superballs" which bounce and if you land a headshot in no bounces, can kill one instantly. [b]Obstacle Courses[/b], where you just do a usually-boring course of obstacles, and usually has a title something like "OMG WHO KILL *12 year old movie star*" or "Be eaten by *so and so* and escape!". I would recommend staying away from these. [b]Building[/b], where you build or destroy objects. This is usually fun, but only with friends. In popular places, you usually get people that destroy everything anyone makes, so stick to places with friends. It has the tools: "move" which moves stuff, "copy", and "delete".[/release] [release]This game is notorious for little, annoying, destructive, meme-spitting little kids, and that completely trashes most of the game, where the comments are filled with Copy-paste things and everyone who you kill calls you a noob and attempts to report you. If you get past that and get into a server with friends, this can be a great game. Here are some places that are actually pretty good and have some nice people on it... usually. Another little thing about the community: [i]Don't go on their forums.[/i] Just, don't. Please don't discuss the god-awful community in this thread unless you have a great story. It is quite fun, even with kids that complain. It has the standard war weapons. [url=http://www.roblox.com/Heli-Wars-Desert-Attack-item?id=483633]Heli Attack[/url] - A standard realistic war map (realistic weapons, at least) that has fast, realistic-ish rockets, an AK47, and Helicopters and Jeeps. There is a VIP room you can buy a shirt to get into, but all it includes is the multirocket (weapon of ultimate death) which fires a couple rockets in a row (pretty easy to dodge) and a VIP heli which can drop bombs. With good skill, you can counteract both these weapons. There are the classic L4D1 zombies. This can be a little frustrating in a group of kids, but it can be fun if you get some fun, cooperative people on your team.
