Ubisoft has "had discussions" about setting the next Assassin's Creed game in World War II - with a female assassin.
Speaking to Xbox World 360 in its latest issue, producer Sébastien Puel said it would make sense for a Woman to do the dirty work in the female-run economies of WWII-era France and England.
"We've had discussions on that very topic," Puel said when quizzed on the possibility of a female assassin. "It could be really interesting but we'd need to find the right time period and place for that.
"Where would that make sense? We don't want to just decide we want to change and have a female hero as the first inspiration is always the time period, but if you're talking about, say, World War II the economies in England and France were run by women because the men were off fighting.

I don´t know if this is true or not, but I think that whe have an similar game on WWII era. It could be fun but new carachter? Ok, I am going to wait for more info.

What's with so much people thinking ACIII would be in one of the world wars? It would only make sense to make a game in the French Revolution first. It's a perfect setting for an ACII sequel.

Didn't they say that Assassin's Creed was designed as a trilogy? I figured it'd be Desmond in the last game.

I think Guillemot is talking about AC: Brotherhood, which is not AC3.
I can't find an exact date, but I don't expect him to be that much older than he was in ACII.

Brotherhood is pretty much AC3,so this will actually be AC4.Having it in WW2 will be pretty cool.

Probably not, but you forget he lives in today's world, that's why he would have accumulated the most memories about all of the assassins and there are not much left.
