on the topic of consoles, 360 was first this gen. not the others.

the wii can always improve it's hardware. there is no reason for it to die.

I just think all of this motion sensing stuff is lame and gimmicky. There's nothing a normal console controller can't accomplish or for the "clean PC gamer gods," a mouse&keyboard. I prefer a console controller for shooter games though. I might take a mouse&keyboard though if I ever get an RTS one of these days.

Nintendo should say fuck you to all the 3rd party developers and just make the games themselves since most companies keep going "hurr durr lets make more party games".

All Kinect did was copy the PS2 Eye Toy. That's the one thing Nintendo has that the other 2 don't, original ideas.

Who gives a flying FUCK about who was first. The Wii is more aimed towards ALL audiences and has some different genres of games. Its not my thing, by far, but it isnt bad at all. The PS3 has more known and awesome titles. This might sound a little biased but its true. Its like a super powered Wii now. X360 seems to have an Eyetoy now, and from the looks of it, its pathetic as fuck when it doesnt works, and when it DOES work.

And when you think of Nintendo games, you realize you don't need a supercomputer to render every single drop of sweet on Mario's super textured skin. And it goes without saying, that of all people, they would know the limitations of the technology.

The whole gaming industry is in danger right now because with the Kinect and Move, they're catering to casual gamers, who make up a shitload less of the industry than hardcore gamers.

I like my Wii. I can play all my old favorites with the virtual console, and it has lots of great exclusives. The motion controls are just a bonus.
