GTA games at it's finest. Runnable on lower end systems and good fun to play. Shooting people with a pistol you stole from a 'gangsta' after you killed him and stole his car never gets old. Nor does waiting till the ambulance comes. Then stealing the ambulance, accidentally knocking one of the ambulance crew dead (you don't kill them on purpose, I didn't mean to kill the other 800 people either officer, honest.) and then repeating the same thing over and over again. Grand Theft Auto is free-roaming at it's finest, and San Andreas is the best one. So. There is a San Andreas Multiplayer Mod, and for those that have never played San Andreas, it's truly wonderful and you should go and get it now. I'm telling you! So go outside and buy it for PC and then we all download the Multiplayer mod and play with our motorcycles till the day breaks. But I can't host, stupid router firewall. Who wants to host?
i read the new updated allows 500 people and like 20000 cars
What does that picture have to do with SA? Also, San Andreas is far from the best GTA, in fact, I think it's the very worst GTA.
That pic is Liberty City Stories broski.
This.
What does that picture have to do with SA? Also, San Andreas is far from the best GTA, in fact, I think it's the very worst GTA.
Even though it pulls away from the series a little, it's still great fun
Even though it pulls away from the series a little, it's still great fun
I found SA more frustrating than fun. Most of the activities are really stupid and boring, plus most of the time the game forces you to do those activities, even if you don't like them. The main character was a complete retard, and he'd always fucking shout out retarded stuff when you're doing something simple, like just driving around. Changing clothes was goddamn pain the ass and most of the clothing items looked really stupid and crappy. And the storyline just had no point, it was just "you arrived here, get a bunch of money and become powerful".
I personally like GTA 4 the most :S
I personally like GTA 4 the most :S
I personally like GTA 4 the most :S But then there's the fact that only one of my computers can run that
I personally like GTA 4 the most :S
not much info.. also.. i think everyone knows what GTA SA is.. so why make a thread :v: my thread of SAMP
San Andreas is all well and good until, uh. you start taking over territory. then it's shit.
GTASA Map + GTA4 Engine = Sold
There's a whole fucking GTA subsection and you decide to post this here? :bravo: OP.
I personally like GTA 4 the most in terms of story and game design however the PC port was less than satisfactory and I would go so far as to suggest that someone should be fired for it because despite patch support it is still one of the worst PC ports ever with multiple levels of DRM and an outright effort to stop mods, I mean not just a lack of mod support but they actually patched it to break mods on purpose :wtf: :S

SA:MP has been out for a while. Playable and better than GTA:MP. Also, IIRC you have to patch your SA copy if you bought it through Steam.
GTASA Map + GTA4 Engine = Sold
Now we're talking.
Hey, what's the difference between the one rated 'M' and the one rated 'AO'. I want to know which I have
If I remember correctly, AO is the patched version that disallows mods. Also AO is for "Adults Only" after hot coffee was found, which is bullshit. I've been trying to find the first version of the game for a while, amazon failed me last time I checked. God damn steam and it's auto patch bullshit.
GTA 4 Graphics in SA is dah :wtf: Thats ownage
[editline]05:51PM[/editline] was looking for a graphic mod, found this one its the closest thing to GTA IV graphics (ya there can be better graphic mods but this one is current the only one i see) link in description
End series, ri-res textures pack, and replacement vehicles. It's really easy.
GTAIV is my favorite. The tie beetween 2nd favorite is between Vice City of San Andreas, but I think I like VC a bit more, simply because it's awesome and nostalgic to play. Anyways, I like SA too, I like it a lot, spent dozens of hours playing it. It just isn't as stylish as VC.
Vice city 1 was way better \:)
I prefered the 80's vibe of Vice City, along with the Scarface references, but I loved the way San Andreas parodied 90's rap culture. I actually started playing it again a couple of days ago, and I'd forgotten how vast and detailed it was. It's by no means 'the worst in the series'. It's funny, over-the-top and isn't too serious. That's one of the things I'm not liking about the GTA4 series: everyone has a permanent frown. Thank God for The Ballad of Gay Tony!
I personally like GTA 4 the most :S
I personally like GTA 4 the most :S
your a 2009er so that must mean you where born in 2009, thus why you like gta4 more. you where born with it instead of sa
your a 2009er so that must mean you where born in 2009, thus why you like gta4 more. you where born with it instead of sa
No, GTAIV is just better. Any other GTA is better than SA.
Vice City pwns all
Vice City had a better overall atmosphere and better characters and storytelling, but San Andreas had a lot more variety in what to do and better gameplay for the most part. Haven't played enough of GTA4 to comment on it.
