[img]http://www.cybernations.net/images/cn_logo.png[/img] Cyber Nations is a free persistent browser-based nation simulation game. Create a nation and decide how you will rule your people by choosing a government type, a national religion, tax rate and more. Build your nation by purchasing infrastructure to support your citizens, land to expand your borders, technology to increase your effectiveness, military to defend your interests, and develop national improvements and wonders to build your nation according to your choosing. The game has a lot of players, which leads to a lot of opportunities. Theres a lot of war, a lot of nukes, and a lot of tension. The only way to truly survive is to get into an alliance as quickly as possible. After that, you'll want to get trades going, and eventually work yourself into trade circles. Trades boost the benefits you get from the game, and when you choose to trade with a member of your own team(color) you'll get a happiness boost to your population. Currently, the best team for trading is Black, which is the color of the Facepunch Treaty Organization, or FPTO. This time I was hoping we could start fresh, and hopefully create our own alliance(FPTO) this time without joining somebody elses. I've been playing this game for a long time and decided I wanted to start fresh.

Meh, didn't bother to search since the last time I did it was really dead. My bad. [editline]2nd June 2011[/editline] But jesus that ones dead too so why should it matter?
It is the newest one out and I made it. It matters.
I doubt anyone remembers the NAAC alliance anymore. Was in it many years ago. Glorious times, awesome members and team spirit, but we happened to be on the losing side of a world war. We went out with a massive bang and were remembered for a long time afterwards as an extremely skilled alliance.
[QUOTE=TheGronk;30198830]It is the newest one out and I made it. It matters.[/QUOTE] I'm not going to bump a 2 month old thread with a dead alliance. Sorry. and Orkel, most of them FP members or was it just a community that formed over time in the game?

[editline]2nd June 2011[/editline] We did a coordinated nuke attack, I threw mine at the enemy clan's leader or highly ranked guy, not sure [editline]2nd June 2011[/editline] I commanded a squad of ~10 members as a squad leader, and also worked as a diplomat before the world war.
The thing i'm worried about with an FP alliance is that people won't want to respond or listen to people who have more experience/authority over them, which ultimately ruins the purpose of the alliance in the first place.
The thing I'm worried about FP alliance is, that it'll get merged with some big alliance that has thousands of members.
That shouldn't happen, theres no reason for it too, and If I do assume responsibility as leader of it, I don't think i'll accept the offer for merging.
The Cyber Nations invasion that occured before my thread was very successful. Not sure what happened to it because I left after I did not get to be in charge of the alliance's economy.
There being nukes in this game makes me like it quite a bit. Sounds like Nationstates but fun. Also, join FP alliance > get nuked by other members for the evulz. Sounds bout right.

They tend to prefer people who've been here longer and participated in other FP ventures (like Wurm Online, Shores of Hazeron, or one of our newest ones, World of Tanks). You need to prove yourself trustworthy before you get to be a leader.
Most FP alliances in this always fail hard anyway. It's always goal 1: Find a rich alliance to get you started quick and milk them, then regroup with the FP alliance after a couple weeks. No one has that much patience though.
