For Christmas, I usually try to get one really good Singleplayer game and one really good Multiplayer game. This is my last Christmas at home, so I really need to make this count! I already got Reach to hold me over until the holidays, but it's rather unsatisfying. What should my 2 games be? I have a 360 and a PC.
Well, it would help telling us what you already have.
New Vegas and Black Ops (wait a few more days) [editline]3rd November 2010[/editline] NV for PC, Black Ops for 360 (otherwise both for PC, because NV is pretty buggy and needs mods)
Go for Dead Rising 2 for singleplayer.
Well, it would help telling us what you already have.
Most of my games are a year or two old, so I want something new, preferably something fairly fresh so that there will be lots of other people online. The only game I own that came out recently is Reach. Oh, and Minecraft (How could I forget Minecraft!)
If you're into strategic games, go for Civilization 5. I don't usually like these types of careful thinking games but Civ 5 makes it fun at the same time. Recently released so multiplayer is pretty much active.
The Stalker games are great SP games. Mount & Blade: Warband is a great MP (and SP, though mainly MP) game. Edit: What, Stalker isn't that good or is it Warband?
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. It's two in one :)
Assassins Creed II and Red Dead Redemption both have a fantastic single player.

Singleplayer: New Vegas Multiplayer: Battlefield: Anything
Men of war, the multiplayer alone will hold you for weeks, and only get it if your a man.
Singleplayer: Fallout: New Vegas Multiplayer (well it's co-op but what-ev): Fable 3
