VoodooCraft Factions - yo wer da goose ppl at (still no popillil) - Games

if it matters to anybody the server is going to be down until 1.7 comes out, and after which I'll be working on an original idea for the reopening. I wont go into it because it's pretty original and I don't want any people snagging it while we wait, but it does involve factions. essentially it's vanilla factions with an insanely huge twist on gameplay that I think will be really fun without involving a laundry list of mods. I've had this idea and been working on it around a week after we opened the server, which is why I stopped supporting it and karate started maintaining it instead. I'll more than likely have this thread locked, and when the server goes back online I'll start a new thread for it since it's far beyond any normal factions server, and especially this which was almost entirely vanilla. [editline]29th September 2013[/editline] really it was just a lot of bad timing. this thread and server was like an embarrassing premature ejaculation, and now we're scrambling to get hard again, only to pound the fuck out of that gameplay vagina.

Okay...So I'm going too be taking the server down for the next few hours or so as I try to fix all these issues. Bukkit updating the other day really messed things up so I'm going to reinstall all plugins and be testing it. Will update this thread once I get everything fixed or close to being fixed [B]EDIT[/B]: Sorry I haven't really been caring for the server, It never really took off so most of us stopped caring about it, but now that we're starting to get more members I'll try to do the best I can. I'm not really the best for running a server too be honest, But I do my best. I'll probably get Goose too help me if hes down. [B]EDIT:[/B] Server is back up and should be working properly, Add me on Steam or leave a reply in this thread letting me know if anything is still broken and I'll try to get around to fixing it as soon as possible. But you should be able to gain power now.

Okay for some odd reason Bed Spawns and Power Gain isn't working, but I'll mess with that tomorrow as I'm about to goto sleep. Hopefully goose is at his PC tomorrow so i can get him to help me configure some of this stuff as I'm not the best Sorry for the inconvenience

The server owner is moving the Server Box so it'll be down for sometime today...hopefully not for long. Will post updates as to when the server should be back online, once I get some information. Once again, Sorry for the inconvenience... Why is all this crap happening when people actually start playing on the server. [B] Update :[/B] He moved across town and got a new Router so he's having some issues with the firewall blocking ports aswell as the URL not being linked to the new IP Address but he's working on getting all of this fixed. [B]Update 2 :[/B] Currently having a bunch of errors with the server, all the files reset themselves for some reason, and it won't use the right minecraft server file so all the plugins are broken...ontop of that noone can connect because something is up with the login servers. I hate too say it but I'm most likely going to talk it over with the server owner and either shut the server down until 1.7 or restart it as a build server. I know you guys won't stick around with it very much longer with it being broken all the time. I barely know what I'm doing half the time, and having crap break all the time is getting to be pretty annoying. I've reconfigured everything atleast 6 or 7 times this last week.

I'll attempt to fix it one last time, If it screws up again... I don't know what I'll do. I have no clue as too why the crap keeps breaking.

Especially with how haphazard minecraft in general is

Alright, I'm going to start working on the server today / tonight, hopefully it should be up by Wednesday morning / late afternoon. I'm starting completely fresh, reinstalling everything minecraft related and going from there. I think the reason crap started messing up this time is cause when Factions broke I just updated it and it messed with the existing config files. [B]Update: [/B]Currently installing all the needed plugins, once I make sure they all run properly I'm going to configure them and test them again, Hopefully all goes well.

Server is currently up and running smooth, Should be able to create factions and gain power without any issues now. Please let me know if you notice anything going on with it. Add me on steam for ease. Didn't think I'd have it up this early due to me being lazy

Server seems to be working great now. Everything working, everything finally 100% stable. Time for factions. :)
