I have a lot of redstone in my chests but i really don't have much use with it... What can i do with then? :dance:

Take to some mods, especially IndustrailCraft 2 with GregTech. Prepare to kiss goodbye to all that redstone. And everything else you own while we're at it as you sacrifice it for that chunk of iridium. Or accidentally blow yourself up like I did siphoning someone's power.
Automate everything. Automated farms, food dispensers, cobble generators, doors, etc.
Watch this series (eight episodes in total) to get a general know-how to do all the neat things.

Turn it into obsidian.
Create traps, hidden doors, monster slaying machines for XP, a rollercoaster, create automatic farms or mines.

Step 1: fill up all your whole crafting slots with redstone.
Step 2 : Grab Redstone block
Step 3: now u have a way to store your redstone!
