Today, I decided to make a thread about the most underrated game ever for the original Xbox, which is also on the Xbox 360 store thing, and I was wondering if anyone else remembered it.
Grabbed by the Ghoulies is unarguably, the most unappreciated Rare (the makers of Donkey Kong Country, and Banjo and Kazooie) game.
Welcome to Ghoulhaven, the most comedic, yet most horrifying mansion ever. Cooper, our main protagonist has just had his girlfriend, Amber kidnapped by sinister gargoyles lead by the evil Baron von Ghoul. You have to travel through the rooms of the mansion to rescue your girlfriend, and stop Baron von Ghoul in his tracks. In this game, there's tons of comedy for the family (which explains the "E" rating). Including farting zombies, dancing skeletons, cowardly imps, and more! In this game you don't really get any cutscenes, more like comic book-style ways of working (the frames DO move.) The characters also don't really talk, when they "talk" they really just make grunting sounds that aren't audible accompanied by text in the comic book cutscene.
In the game you do minor challenges, tests, and races against the clock. Fight ghoulies using only weapons. Kill 5 ghoulies before the grim reaper spawns, don't use weapons, don't get hit, and the list goes on and on.
The trailer in case no one's seen it:

I've always been meaning to get this game. Should I?
It's pretty fun, the graphics are pretty good. I got this game when I was about 8 or so, and I still play it to this day.

The game gets bad reviews, but I believe the game is very good.
It also has a bit of innuendo implied multiple times in the game, despite it being for kids (or adults). Kind of like the movie Shrek
I loved the minigame with the hallway of mounted monster heads. That shit was fun as hell.
I hear challenge 21 (the secret challenge) involves you beating the game as Cooper's girlfriend
Haha I fucking remember playing this, it was so fun.
The game kind of starts out slow, but then it gets really fun and I start screaming, "HOLY SHIT I JUST SHOVED THAT POOL TABLE INTO THOSE SKELETONS!":byodood:

I like the bath tub. You can spin it around as well.
