Dedicated Buyers Valve? Are we worth so little? - Games

Hey, Well as of 23rd of June team fortress 2 has been free to play. As a dedicated buyer who bought the game on release date for full release date price Im a seriously pissed. The game i payed full price for is now completely free. What do you get valve? No Special Hat as a dedicated buyer? No Refund for the price I payed? No Respect for having bought it on release?. Valve. You ran team fortress 2 repeatly into the ground. With your shitty attempts to impress me.Hats? Hopeless custom crap?. You have just lost alot of my respect. Please share your thoughts on the matter Fellow facepunchers. May the kids of steam download your game and spam our servers with there useless mic spam. Today... Is the death of team fortress 2.. What is left of it.

You're complaining over 100+ free updates to a game that has been more devoted to by the developers than ever, and you got free updates for more than 3 years. Wait, why am I even posting this? This point is in just about every other TF2 thread right now. Sheesh.

Yeah, I agree, now not only am I out $20.00, TF2 will become infested with hackers and little kids who will spam chat with stupid shit.

You get a promo hat, trading and crafting privilages, double the backpack size, cosmetics, and oh yeah and years of free content and amazingly fun gameplay for the cost of the average mappack nowadays.

You call adding shitty hats and custom crap dedication? The class updates were ok. But the rest was useless shit.

Ya know they gave us over 40 maps for free, most companies charge $15 for 3! Honestly I have no problem with FTP, Ive been playing tf2 for years and I've gotten more enjoyment out of it than any other game. Its introduced me to a great community and given me some great fun content to play with. It was well worth the $20 bucks I've spent and I dont care if its free now because the years of fun its given me are worth far more than that.

You played the game for 3/2 years,enjoyed countless number of free updates,And still whining?Other company would have left the game years ago.

Heck, if anything, this shows us that Valve are nowhere NEAR done with TF2. This should give us updates for at least a few more years. I'm glad I paid. I LOVE the game.

I honestly have no problem with the free 2 play going on considering TF2's cheap now and goes below $5 sometimes. Besides the free account users get less benefits than people that paid for TF2. On top of that, I'm enjoying the free WW1 helmet they gave us. Looks good on a heavy using the Tomislav. Also quit complaining about the free shit. What other game company adds a whole load of free content to four year old games let alone two year old games. Either you're spoiled or just dumb

The year and a half I've played TF2 have really been worth the money I put into it. So I'm not complaining. It's actually better that we get more players.

For my money I managed to get 1500 hours of pure entertainment and fun. I am not knocking it. I just feel for those that bought it a day before it went live.

I am happy that my late purchase of TOB will get me something, some goodies from VALVe for TF2. I'm happy, so stop ya whining.
