Fuck Origin
Fuck EA
Im not buying shit from that website.
Port to steam or no fucking way.
This didn't need a thread. Post it in the Battlefield 3 thread.
Furthermore, I am getting retail. You should too. I like the case. Frankly, I could care less about Origin. It never has affected my decision of purchasing anything because I never decided to purchase anything off it. I am definitely not saying you are not buying Battlefield 3 because of Origin, but there are people out there who say they shouldn't ever buy Battlefield 3 because the option to buy it is on Origin. That is just plain ignorant.
Hey, hey, hey, guess what you can preorder it on every major digital distributor except for Steam. People are shitting themselves over the fact that you can apparently only preorder it on Origin, but it's not true.
You could even go retail. Fact is, just because it isn't on Steam doesn't mean you have to use Origin. I'd love for it to be on Steam just as much as everybody else, but I'm going all "hurrr I'm not preordering because of Origin."
I'm actually just not preordering because of money. I'll probably just pick it up a week or so after release.
You guys throw such a fucking hissy fit because you have to go out of your norm a little bit for one god damn game. You throw temper tantrums like a 2 year old when he gets apple juice in his shrek themed sippy cup rather then his spider man one. You dont even need origin installed to play the damn game.

Agreed, Steam fanboyism really gets out of hand.
You know what I never hear?
"Fucking Valve only putting Portal 2 up for download on Steam. This is bullshit, I want to play on the PC but I don't want to use Steam."
steam prices are pretty crap (as in too high) for most games after release anyway, usually it's way cheaper to get those retail unless they are on sale
Depends where you live. In Australia sometimes I can save $50 simply by purchasing a game on Steam.
