• World Editing - Like a BOSS

We've all been there, in that spot where you're working on something. Trying to be a boss. And then you fuck yourself royally! And unfortunately, unlike today's world editor's with the "//undo" reminder, you didn't even know that command existed. I'm not going to lie, I've done something like this before, and didn't eve know "//undo" was a usable command. So not only have I been on my knees suffering the fact that I was World Editors bitch, but I've had to spend a few hours repairing my mess. Did I also mention there wasn't a 500 Block Changing limit(<- Which I still think is lame)? So, even though World Editor was the BOSS, of course you/I ended of being... THE BOSS So why don't you guys post your royal fuck ups, or share a story about how you fucked yourself extremely hard. Or, boast about how amazing your skills are and the fact that this little mishap never occurred. :3:
Holy shit, are you a closet masochist? All I see is how you demean yourself. The only thing I CONSISTENTLY do in minecraft, is make a fireplace or something that seems all well and good, and when I come back the next minute, everything is on fucking fire.

I'm pretty sure they aren't flammable :D P.S. - Posting about how I fail at World Edit isn't really demeaning, because lots of people suck dick at it. If anything, I have balls to admit it. Besides, if you can't laugh at yourself, what can you laugh at?

The only way I could remove the lava (commands didn't work for most of the lava) was to create a gigantic glass sphere to contain it, unfortunately I was too slow to act and not all of the lava was stopped. I flooded the sphere and then learned you can remove whole areas.

I just learned how to create a sphere a week ago :P Fuck figuring out how to remove areas :bang: [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Actually I've gotten better at World editing. After you test out a command, and if you understand it's affect on the environment, then everything gets a lot easier.
On a server I'm on, some guy was worldediting for someone who didn't have permissions for it, and then the worldeditor tp'd away to do something else and forgot to change one of the points from the last place he was, and deleted half the map and crashed the server.

Then again, who hasn't forgotten to change a point? Or thought they clicked on a block, and instead, click off into pure void?

VoxelSniper. Best world editing plugin.
VoxelSniper. Best world editing plugin.
Thanks! I'll be sure to look into it :D Maybe improve my own world editing skills along the way? :3: [editline]4th August 2011[/editline]
plugin
Oh wait... That means it's for a SMP server :(
You can do that with WorldEdit too. /replace sand grass
You can do that with WorldEdit too. /replace sand grass
Oh wow, I'll have to test that out. Thanks :D [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] I just tried it, and it worked! Beast, Lee.
You can do that with WorldEdit too. /replace sand grass
Yeah but I didn't do that, I made it so 20 layers below were just stone, so there wasn't going to be random patches of sand below dirt, and then I made 2 layers of dirt, and then replaced the top layer of dirt with grass for a grassy biome. It's a lot more than just doing '/replace sand grass'

I mean, minecraft is one big mother fucking mystery.
But wouldn't those random patches of sand undo dirt be apart of "the great mystery" which lies in the bowls of Minecraft? I mean, minecraft is one big mother fucking mystery.
Is it? I haven't noticed, I figured most of it out after 2 weeks of playing.
Is it? I haven't noticed, I figured most of it out after 2 weeks of playing.
Totally broer. Once you figure it all out, the 1.8 update comes out, and you have 1000 new mysterious. Congrats! :D
Totally broer. Once you figure it all out, the 1.8 update comes out, and you have 1000 new mysterious. Congrats! :D
1000 new mysterious? Is that a currency in America or something? But 1.8 doesn't really look mysterious, the features shown have already had Notch/Jeb explain them, it's a massive content update, if you can't figure that out then you should get your brain checked out.

Yep. 100%
I'm a fucking self-proclaimed master at worldedit. For large scale terraforming use //Brush sphere 0 5 in combination with //brush smooth 5 and //mask & //Mat & /size.
Also, OP can you stop attempting to use broken smileys, and don't bother using text smileys either because no-one likes them.

That's just my interpretation.
MCEdit master race. No block or edit limit.
I didn't even realise tools besides MC Edit existed. MC Edit is awesome.
Also, OP can you stop attempting to use broken smileys, and don't bother using text smileys either because no-one likes them.
They aren't broken when you use SA Emoticons broer. BTW why do people use them if they dislike them? ":gonk:" ":D" ":)" Lots of those :P [editline]4th August 2011[/editline]
Failing at something isn't demeaning; saying that your its bitch and how you got fucked by it is, though.
They aren't broken when you use SA Emoticons broer. BTW why do people use them if they dislike them? ":gonk:" ":D" ":)" Lots of those :P
Because they're childish.
Because they're childish.
This is all irrelevant.
I didn't even realise tools besides MC Edit existed. MC Edit is awesome.
MC Edit is for designing for detail really, other such tools like VoxelSniper and WorldEdit are for bigger projects like terraforming.
MC Edit is for designing for detail really, other such tools like VoxelSniper and WorldEdit are for bigger projects like terraforming.
Either way these are all useful in creating something in minecraft :P
